The past few weeks has seen the endless parade of deviants being outed in Hollywood and government. This nuking of the swamp is long overdue and hopefully marks permanent change, but in-depth discussion of all that has occurred is lacking. I know this is a bit off-topic for me, but for those who are interested, what follows are some reflections on some of what has been debated in the media.
The “deviant of the day” in the media has been more than troubling. The part that people have quickly forgotten about is how the behavior of many of these people was an “open secret” — an oxymoron if there ever was one. Even to the point that jokes were made on television shows. The lurid history of politicians was no secret either.
Yet for years, people laughed and looked the other way. There should be moral outrage of this, but there has been little.
While the swamp is draining, the dropping water has revealed a festering cancer underneath. A cancer of bankrupt mindsets and philosophies in which people don’t think twice on the nature of their behavior. When these people find themselves in a position of power, are the results shocking?

I posted the Corey Feldman expose many years ago. Homowood has had their way for decades. Everyone seems to have forgotten what the queer infiltration did to the Catholic priesthood. God set the example for how to deal most effectively with the Sodomites long ago. It was a very dramatic event and was meant to highlight the seriousness and consequences of such deviant behavior. Now, it is called gay by most of the public. Why is that?

I really do not like the idea of using the behavior of dirtbags and the tears of actresses/the misfortune of an innocent as a weapon against an enemy (to quote another Freeper). Real men would take these Weinstein/Spacey et al losers out back and beat some sense into them. I am also a free market capitalist and I don't want to regulate anything unless it is in line with the intent of the Founders.
All that said, we're dealing with the lowest of the low. If the Republicans had any sense of testicular fortitude - or a desire to MAGA for ALL individuals - they'd call a press conference and say:
"Democrats are clearly pro-misogyny. Silence equals consent. They said nothing while one of their fundraisers roamed as a sexual predator in Hollywood. And now a former presidential candidate looks like he cut from the same cloth.
"It is sad that the loudest Democrat since this story broke has been Hillary Clinton, as she acknowledged that the Oval Office has seen a sexual predator - her husband.
"The Republican leadership asks the Democrats to reject harboring of anti-woman fundraisers, and join us as we announce the start of hearings on the civil rights of individuals amidst this poisonous atmosphere in Hollywood, with an eye toward regulating studios and actors and actresses under the Commerce Clause as so many Democrats have with other parts of the economy."
Others have noted that the Republicans likely have skeletons in their closet and there is a risk in this approach. I agree, but maybe it's time to man-up and clean the Augean Stables. Frankly, I don't care if it's Hollywood or Wall Street or Main Street or K Street...this isn't the way real men act.
Yes, some people may have not spoken out for a variety of reasons. Nobody knows what is in the heart of mankind. I will not be the first one to cast a stone, and based on some of my readings, there is a lot of internal sorrow going around nowadays. That, to me, is enough punishment but the good news is, there is always room for forgiveness FOR THOSE WHO SEEK IT WITH CONTRITION.
All that said, there is always love, but there is also justice. Many of us need to step up - the time to act is upon us. From Moses to St Joseph to men of fidelity throughout history, now is the time for Deplorables to reclaim the mantle of "compassion" from the statists, and expose their War on Women. Who among us is willing to put thought into action, and in our daily lives when we encounter even a modicum of this behavior, to speak out forcefully?
It all depends on who is defining masculinity. If you let God define it through His Word, it becomes something much greater than fleshly “manliness”.

Lots of “men” behave as the above and back slap each other, even here on FR, and have nothing but contempt for homosexuals. They are correct in hating that sin, but do they hate their own? No. they are blind to it. We’re all blind to our own sin unless God enables us to see it.
In Christ one can see it, agree with God about it, and have joy that ALL our sins are forgiven in Him. And become the truest form of “men” vs. the adolescent caricature the world pushes (which IS toxic).

There are other synonyms, but the above are the best match. I can see why Pajama Boy and other Obama/Hillary supporters would consider masculinity to be toxic. Masculinity is what protects the old, the weak, and other ordinary people against pure evil.
Maculinity in service to the good of others is a blessing to all.
Masculinity used to coerce and dominate is a curse to the world.

Adolescent caricature: Goliath
Both manly men, but one knew God and he lived far above mere brutishness in the flesh.

Joseph would be considered a homo by some FReepers because he ran away from Potiphar’s lusty wife (guilty/not guilty?). What normal young guy would do THAT?
His brothers ended up in terror and it was God’s man, Joseph, who showered them with mercy instead of taking revenge.

Masculinity to the Left is like a flamethrower to a snowflake.
Females are nurturers.
Males are builders. Looking at structures and inventions around the world, it seems that white males are the BEST builders.
I'm glad you brought that up because I think it's the key to the issue. The Playboy philosophy and the "baby daddy" culture would be two examples of toxic masculinity.
I thought the last three were, Brave, Clean, and Reverent?
