Over the last year, it seems as if more campus hate crimes turned out to be hoaxes than legitimate acts of hate. Schools tended to be fertile ground for overzealous students looking to prove there is hate where none exists. These 17 examples show 2017 continued to be a year in which hate-crime hoaxes are an epidemic with no end in sight.
Some anecdotes are fallout from post-election antics spawned in late November 2016 in the wake of the Donald Trump presidency. The rest originated in apparent desperate attempts to push a progressive narrative.

Start charging these pinheads, and watch the quantify of such incidents plummet. As it stands, these are no-lose incidents for most of the perps.
Article dismisses the fact basically all of the reported hate crimes that made news were also faked by the victim who was really the perpetrator.
They should all be fined and have to do felony jail time. Double the sentences actual criminals would have been able to receive. Only way to stopthis crap from occurring.
These crimes are lies and they ruin innocent people, they stir up hostility between groups based on lies, they make a mockery of the justice system as a ignorant tool for their agenda, and undermine everyones faith in the justice system and political system that tries to make policy based on phony incidents. The penalties need to be far more severe.
Because bearing false witness is a high sacrament of the leftist religion. They get brownie points for it.

A good suggestion for Trump and Congress. Amend the federal "hate crimes" statute to make faking such crimes a level higher than such a crime would have been.
We'd likely see zero "hate crimes" for years.
If the media did its job, it would be plastering this all over the headlines. Instead, it deliberately and intentionally suppressed it.

It is not within the preview or authority of the police chief to determine what is or is not in the best interest of the community or who should be charged. That is up to the prosecutor.
Is it in the best interests of the community to have all these fake hate crimes causing unrest between the races? NO.

A very good question to ask right now is this, how many of these faux ‘crimes’ are STILL listed on the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) hate crime listing that the MSM always uses as a prime source of ‘fact’? It has been admitted by the SPLC themselves that entries are not automatically removed when proven false.
When one wants to claim victim-hood, but the eeeeevil racists won’t do anything racist, one has to do some ad lib work - else the whole meme falls apart.
