I recall some right here on this site who constantly mocked Trump Tweet messages to the people.
It seems these con-servatives wanted Trump to have his every comment filtered by the lying biased media. They could not grasp the power of the Internet or they’re just leftist masquerading as conservatives, who like other leftist, really wanted Trump silenced.
One of the best articles I read on this topic posited that Tweets are part of a "Cheese in the Maze” subterfuge program. The idea was to constantly leak stories of chaos or whatever to get the Fake News media chasing those rather than the policy stories. While the media's knickers are in a twist, Trump WINS.
Frankly, I've come to see the Tweets as meeting multiple objectives, many of which are cited in the Glob's article. On balance, though, I like the Cheese/subterfuge angle. Trump has racked up MASSIVE WINS while the media has lost their mind on covfefe, Puerto Rico, jailed basketball players, and Morning Joe.

He did examine the difficulty of understanding without the benefit of similar life experience.
Great for Trump to fight back, but he also needs to come up with tweets that appeal beyond his base. He can do this without going GOPe. Otherwise, he will be forever fighting back without winning new recruits.

How the MSM HATES the fact that Trump reaches teh public without the MSM getting to filter, distort, and frame his words coupled with unflattering photos, like the one on the cover of Time magazine that shows the letter “M” above his head to indicate horns. Alert readers realized later that Trump is Batman and those are bat ears, but that’s not what Time wanted people to think.
