The desperation of U.S. liberals to find some truth in the claims that Donald Trump’s campaign staff colluded with Russian state actors is approaching infinity.
FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe’s testimony to the House Intelligence Committee all but confirms that the only ‘proof’ the FBI and Special Counsel Robert Mueller have of collusion is the discredited “Trump Dossier.”
This dossier was compiled by Christopher Steele and sold to the Clinton Campaign as opposition research by Fusion GPS. McCabe stonewalled the HIC on this matter but couldn’t point to anything in the dossier that the FBI verified to be true other than publicly-known knowledge of Carter Page visiting Moscow in 2016.
And the last time I checked (as least for now) visiting Moscow is not a crime.
Neither is what Michael Flynn did a crime either, but let’s not bring facts in to dash the hope of the terminally insane.
McCabe has to stonewall on this issue otherwise he and the rest of the FBI are guilty of acting on behalf of Hillary Clinton to assist in spying on her political opponent. Because that’s where all of this leads if people would take their ideological blinders off for five seconds and look at what we actually know as opposed to what we ‘just know to be true.’
Everyone involved in this sordid affair should be tried for espionage and treason.
Those prominent liberals running around protesting the mere thought of Donald Trump shutting down the Mueller investigation to ‘protect the sanctity of our elections’ are a bunch of simpering morons.
And I’m sick to death of the blatant and rank hypocrisy when it comes to election fraud in this country.
For this reason alone, the Mueller investigation should be shut down.

Mueller’s entire investigation is unraveling. Trump should leave him there and get the letter clearing him of wrongdoing - which should be coming within the next few weeks.
Flynn should challenge his plea as the prosecutors hid key evidence (bias of the FBI agent who interviewed him).
There is nothing to unravel.

Oh I don’t think Mueller et al should be shut down. I think he’s inadvertently exposing more and more deep state corruption as he goes on.
Any time Mueller wishes to shut down the investigation, the only condition is that Trump should demand he write an exoneration letter. Non negotiable.
I know it is too much to ask but I could see this backfiring on the dimoKKKRATS. Let’s say Mueller does indeed find wrong doing but it is the dimoKKKRATS who are found to have broken the law.
The media and dimoKKKRATS are so invested in Mueller that they would be hard pressed to do a 180 and go after him. I know that some would but they would look like the fools that they are. It would be so obvious that even Stevie Wonder could see it.
It seems to me that everyone but Trump is the worse for it. In fact, I believe Trump is viewed in better light now.
As Rush was saying today even the never-Trumpers are sidling up to Trump now.

Amazing what being under oath, with a libel suit hanging over their head, will do to enhance someone’s veracity.

If Mueller is fired before the end, he will be a martyr for the left to use.
Why not leave him there and let him fall apart?

Trump firing Mueller would actually give the something to come after him for.....presently, they are just getting stuck in their own mess...why interrupt them?
I’ve been telling yall this for ages and everybody has been howling for Mueller to be fired. After the election and everything that has happened so far yall should have learned not to second guess Donald Trump.

Great news that Steele is walking away from his highly paid-for work now that was used to try to influence the outcome of an election, as well as appearing to use of the dossier by the feds to spy on Mr Trump and subsequently overturn his electoral victory. While it is important to understand how the dossier was used, I also believe it is important to try to know whether those “really smart, expert people” who used it actually believed its contents.
I am still theorizing that in the Steel dossier scam, HRC and others played the part of the “sucker”. As I wrote elsewhere, it is appearing like some body in Russia used an opportunity that by luck walked in their door via Steele as a chance to influence the US Presidential election ... so that HRC (not Trump) might be elected. It also appears to me that the Obama administration, DNC/HRC, John McCain are so far removed from reality and controlled by their raw emotions/hatred for Trump that they are willing to believe anything about him, even fake intelligence. In other words, the democraps got “taken”, hook line and sinker, and then as the suckers that they were, used the full power of the federal government after being scammed to spy on their political opponent, probably breaking laws (e.g. unmasking) in the process.
While their motives were based in malevolence, sheer hatred and perhaps fear of Trump, their gross incompetence in protecting the rights of American citizens (especially going after a duly nominated political opponent) is especially stunning. The democraps got scammed by Russia and the democraps then abused the powers of US government...powers that they were entrusted to hold.
