It’s not a currency. Crypto yes, but not money.

The thing about bitcoin is this: Rarity is what makes a thing valuable. The less there is of something, the more valuable it is.

And bitcoins are based on “nothing”. So nothing (zero) is the lowest quantity of a thing you can have, thus making bitcoins extremely valuable! ;)

That’s why atheists are so zealous and proselytizing, too. Nothing is precious due to rarity and very compelling as a belief system.

I always wanted the blue glass Stanley Steamer bottle. Could never afford the $6.95 and then the prices just ran away. Could’a, Would’a, Should’a. ;o(

I went to the website and was amazed at how affluent this bitcoin investor was: An old “T” shirt, scruffy beard, Pony tail with hair that looks like it has never been washed and the best showing of opulence...living in some half finished cinder-block building with something that resembled a bed to lay on. I wonder if he could buy a new house with all of that money his bitcoins could be traded for?

I bought 100 shares of a stock that does block chain not long ago, at $8.50. Sold 50 of them at $21.50, more than covering total cost. Sold the last 50 at $41.00 on Tuesday.....it looked too much like tangent, meet asymptote. It's down to $21.00 now.

Maybe I should buy a few tulip bulbs from the profit. Tulip bulbs are real, bitcoin and whatever that thing is I traded, not so much.

My wife is going to plant quite a few tulips around our house.

I remember your taking a good bit of grief a couple of weeks ago for making comments about tulips...what happened to all those people?

Coinbase is a cluster eff, and they are thieves. They stole two Bitcoin Cash’s from me by not giving me them in the Hard Fork.

Perhaps you'll have better luck when they introduce the plastic spoon.

I’m quite happy with the 23% gains in my stock portfolio this year. I shaved off a little into cash to stash away for a rainy day. I’ll shave a little more off in January when the tax rates are lower.

The odd thing is that it is so obvious to anyone not drinking the koolaid. I mean, even the REAL story about cryptocurrency, the Blockchain, can be used regarding “real” money as well.

So no matter how you slice it, bitcoin is a pyramid scheme based on a money that has even less backing it than the fiat currency of countries.

When you buy a Zimbabwe billion dollar note you at least get a bit of paper.
