Kalifornia is like a Mexican-liberal state. Mexicans are In Charge.

Yup, just look at any place where Mexicans are in charge if you want to see massive failure and corruption. It's all they know how to do.

There was no provision in the constitution for political parties. California passed a law that said the top two vote getters in a primary compete in the general election.

We have two pretty good Conservative candidates for governor in Travis Allen and John Cox. Problem is they dont have name recoginition yet. No one is paying attention yet either. Newsome and Villaragosa are blowing money already TV and Radio ads attacking each other.

I think once Cox gets on the air he should pass Tony V. Believe it or not, there are alot of pissed off people here since the gas tax, registration fees and the cap and tax fees.

Sorry, but the problem is the Republicans in California. If you can’t even come up with a candidate who can manage to come in SECOND PLACE in the primary, how do you expect to have any chance at all in the general election? Maybe run a populist for once and not a bland “stealth Democrat” RINO or corporate reject like FioRINO, and then actually fund and fight for that candidate, maybe you can make it to the big leagues.

Maybe, also, reign in the egomaniac clown car of “Republican” no-name kooks who inevitably split the vote 12 ways and guarantee none of them will make it to second place. The Republicans could get to the general election in CA if they only knew how to win elections there in the first place, but they don’t.

For my part, I’m glad I got out of that dump.

Unless the borders are sealed tight and soon, this is the fate that awaits the entire country.

Ain't that the truth...sigh.

Way too many illegal voters in Kalifornia to elect a Republican.

We should do this in red states. Why are we so nice? We need to play dirty.

Imagine being the only conservative in a nursing home in Berkeley, hoping that your child will come and visit you once in a while.

Do you know someone in that circumstance ?

It would be a kindness to visit or arrange visits.

Yeah, but maybe when Californians really begin to paying their fair share of federal taxes without exempting their excessive state taxes, they just might want to reconsider their favorite tax and spend Liberals, you know the ones who promise to give you a right to someone else’s money!

I’m assuming the Chinese and Russians are working with North Korea to perfect a missile that will overshoot the communist western states. No need to risk hitting the friendlies.

Full stop.

This is what California’s voters agreed to.

If you are a believer in Federalism, then you must believe that California has the right to vote to be East Germany with Palm Trees as long as the State Government observes the Bill of Rights and other subordinate U.S. Codes.

Californians don’t have to be happy, they just have to own their fascism.

Besides, with the exception of Tom McClintock and a very few others, the California State GOP has been walking around with its thumb up where it shouldn’t be since George Dukmeijian left Town.

political parties have no rights. The system works the same for both parties. If the repubs can’t score in the primaries they don’t get on the ballot.

“No Republicans will make it onto the ballot for the key races in the 2018 general election in the deep blue state of California.”

There aren’t any to get. Those they didn’t scare out, they chased out, killed, or ate.

Does the President’s new Executive Order create the grounds with which to withhold funds from sanctuary cities, states for human trafficking?

As James Michener said, all former Spanish colonies are corrupt.

I have always wondered the legality of depriving a whole political group, albeit a minority in this state, of the right to vote for a representative from their own party to represent them in local state and federal positions.

If tables were returned, and if there ever was a time only republicans were the two choices, you can imagine how quick the courts would step in and disallow the situation.
