The driver of a car which plowed into Christmas shoppers in Melbourne Thursday had a history of drug use and mental health issues, police said.
Acting chief commissioner of Victoria Police Shane Patton told reporters that while the crash was considered to be deliberate, there was no evidence of a link to terrorism.

He's an Australian citizen of Afghan descent who was known to police but only for minor offenses.

As an aside, I'll bet that the authors of this article will be reprimanded for including that "Afghan descent" reference. After all, it has already been decided. This is a mental health story, not an Islam story.
It’s always possible that the guy is just crazy, regardless of his religious affiliation. I just haven’t seen that before from a muslim; has anybody else?

Well of course not. We all know that Australia is infested with billions of Afghani’s.
I did time in Afghanistan. “Mental health issues” descries the typical Afghan. As in, “A doctor saw my pregnant wife. Now I must kill her and the child!”

POTUS should dump those Afghan-Australians on a small NATO country like Latvia. They are in the visa free Schengen zone so all the “refugees” would head to Germany ASAP.

Imagine if during WW II somebody would have tried to sell this idea: There is nothing wrong with Nazism. It’s a peaceful philosophy. All those Nazi atrocities, they are caused by people with mental health issues.
That person would have been laughed at. And then maybe arrested. But the media is saying the same thing about Islam today. And we’re supposed to believe it.
If he was a Mohammedan then he had a connection to terrorism.

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Allah guarantees him who strives in His Cause and whose motivation for going out is nothing but Jihad in His Cause and belief in His Word, that He will admit him into Paradise (if martyred) or bring him back to his dwelling place, whence he has come out, with what he gains of reward and booty."
For a Muslim who has sinned, and is depressed and suicidal, there IS ONLY ONE ACCEPTABLE WAY TO ATONE and attain Paradise in Islam.
National suicide derangement syndrome has infected Australia too I see.
Whose idea is it to take some primitive, barbaric Afghani tribesman and plop him down in the middle of a modern, Western metropolis and expect that he'll thrive?
Why not leave him in Afghanistan? Why are we bringing these people over here? Of course they're going to have issues!
