What would be the obverse of the snowflake — the coal lump? Who thinks he must do everything completely alone?

Both are unfair extremes. There is no one size fits all circumstance except for the one common factor of needing to declare dependence on God. The forefathers would rebuke “snowflakes” and “coal lumps” alike for their lack of faith. As the bible says: Boasting? It is excluded.

You cannot earn salvation, but you CAN earn the respect of your fellow man. And should.

The opposite of a snowflake isn’t a lump of coal, but a man.

Nice try. But their is no counter part to the snow flake and the invention of “coal lump” provides no moral equivalency.

Are you saying that all snowflakes are not Christians? “Snowflake” reflects a political mindset and passive aggressive approach to stifling dissent. There may even be snowflake christians.
