Good thing it was an adult teacher and not a fellow 16-year old student. He could've been charged with producing, possessing, and distributing child porn.
And this story is newsworthy in that it is illustrative of how fast kids can screw up their lives and reputations permanently over the stupid stuff they do on-line. Parents need to instill this in their kids. There's just some mistakes you can't delete.

Heard of men getting charged for something called ‘manspreading’. Maybe this could be called ‘womanspreading’. Really, this kid did nothing generations before him hadn’t, but today’s technology and PC environment have changed the reality.
