**SNIP**

For the first time, many wealthy Manhattanites will finally feel the full burden that their state legislators and city leadership have put on them.

De Blasio is actually trying to increase millionaire New York City taxpayers’ loads as Republicans put the finishing touches on their bill.

The mayor is trying to levy a 14 percent tax increase on the city’s millionaires to pay for improvements to the city’s subway system.

The governor-elect of New Jersey is looking to pull a similar tactic to raise money for public schools in the state.

“I’ve been doing this more than 40 years, and never heard more discussion about relocating than recently.”

Please keep all RAT voters there. No need to infect the rest of the country.

The weather is fine here in the Sunshine State. No state income tax. No state estate tax. Unlimited homestead exemption after 1215 days.

Not perfect, but light years ahead of NY or CA.

Central Park West? Mecca for liberals. You’d want to live on the west side?

Yup,I love New York and would love to have a little "pied-à-terre" in the West 70's.

I'm not seeing it yet. Residential high rises continue to explode all over Manhattan with the average unit running into the millions of dollars. On 57th Street alone, there are several high rises under construction that will be over 1,000 feet high - almost all residential.

That said, the city is going downhill under De Blasio. Coming out of Grand Central, there is a bum who is allowed to sleep right on Lexington Street in the 44th Street area. He's been there for weeks, sleeping under cardboard and setting up a tiny little hovel for himself. You can smell him from a block away and nobody has rousted him. There are other examples of this.

This did not happen under Guiliani or even under Bloomberg.

Lol. Millionaires in Manhattan with prime real estate aren’t going anywhere over a tax increase.

Unintended(?) consequences to follow. This will be an interesting sideshow, as well as a sharp lesson, as the Swamp is being drained.

The odds of most of these wealthy Leftists understanding that they created this monster, and turning into limited government, free market advocates, are at least dozens to one against.

Stay where you are, @ssholes.

You can own an expensive condo in NYC without being a resident of the city or state.

Looks like NYC is returning to the good old days of the 1970s.
