It was a big mistake of America never to have defined marriage to be only between a man and a woman.
It would be seen as superfluous until this profligate, dissipated age — and then too late.

Roy Moore was too early, IMHO. One can’t enforce what’s not widely believed in.
America did define marriage that way, but the courts overturned that definition.
Even if we had a constitutional amendment to define marriage, the liberals would have passed laws for civil unions which gave civil unions a legal status equivalent to marriage.
