CHICAGO (WLS) -- Cook County Commissioner Richard Boykin headed to the United Nations in New York Thursday to ask for help fighting violence in Chicago.

"I'm hoping to appeal the UN to actually come to Chicago and meet with victims of violence and maybe even possibly help out in terms of peace keeping efforts," Boykin said.

Boykin boarded a plane to New York City for a meeting with an Assistant Secretary General of the United Nations. It's a meeting that's been planned for more than a month and stems from disconcerting violence numbers seen this year in Chicago. Violence which is felt particularly hard in many African American communities.

Assuming for a moment that they even made it to Chicago, I wonder how long it would be before American citizens started using their helmets as aiming points for a head-shot?

Boykin already has the ‘helps’ needed. Trump certainly offered to assist. Chicago refused.....

How many good old country boys with a bit of hunting experience do ya think could take those f-tards out a 500+ yards with a hunting rifle?

Blue helmets on American soil is the #1 (current) reason for the 2nd Amendment.

Some future Obama traitor may invite this invasion. It will be up to patriotic Americans to stop it.

Sure, go right ahead and invite a foreign military force to invade and occupy an American city.

That way, we can just put US troops all around the perimeter of cook county, and shell them into oblivion.

Sedition and treason are offenses who’s only remedy is death.

Boykin should take a knee to protest the violence. That will raise the #awareness I’m sure.

So he just happened to arrange a junket to NYC during Christmas season? Wonder how many shows and expensive meals he fit in during his “working” trip?

I do believe you've won the thread - I watched a video of this hack. He wasn't convincing, not at all. In watching his body language and listening to his voice, he wasn't explaining, but more like spooling up an excuse - like trying to explain to a school principal why he was cutting class.
