It’s Sean, not Shawn, eyeroll. He’s Irish-American, not African-American.
Yes, he didn’t help.

Yes, but Moore also is to blame on how he answered: no, not generally dated young teens, and don’t remember but if I did then I did, and I always got mommy’s permission.
To: The_Media_never_lie
Sean is partly to blame.
He was rolled by the overwhelming establishment media attack on Roy Moore.
All the power of the Establishment was focused on defeating Roy Moore.
If all Republicans had simply called for due process, Roy would likely have won.
It shows us how powerful the establishment it when they are able to focus all there power on one race.

Hannity’s influence is insignificant. He is a weak person as rule, entirely too deferential to perceived power an influence. He showed a lot of resolve and courage in 2016, but that was an anomaly.

Hannity did his job as a journalist - unlike liberal journalists who cover for Democrats and lob them softball questions. The blame for this mess lies squarely on Mitch McConnell, who spent over 4 million dollars to keep Mo Brooks from winning the nomination, and then promised that Moore would face a Senate ethics investigation if he won the election.
Brooks will win back the seat in 2020, assuming McConnell doesn't spend millions against him again.

I saw the interview. Sean simply gave him a chance to tell his story and a platform from which to tell it, and Moore was squishy. Moore did this to himself.

Moore did it to himself. Hannity put some questions to Moore in which the answers should have been categorically “no”. It’s not Hannity’s fault that Moore had a thing for teenagers while in his mid-30’s. The whole point of the Hannity interview was for Moore to clear his name. Moore failed.

Look, no one has been vociferous in excoriating McConnell, Rove, and Ryan for doing all they could to elect Jones, but I gotta tell you, Moore did himself absolutely no favors by allowing himself to be interviewed by a 12 year old girl. Whoever counseled this as a wise political move should be shot. Also, Moore did not help himself by coasting the last 10 days of the election.
Finally, as a personal note, it’s now Liberty Daily for me. Matt Drudge has demonstrated he has a single issue website.
