Classy post? If I have read 50 I’ve read 100 comments tonight blaming Trump for Moore’s loss. And now this early on congratulatory tweet will not sit well with many Freepers

Yeaah they cheered for Bannon and Moore and didn’t listen to Trump in the primary.

And now they want to blame Trump.

Idiots.

Unfortunately, you’re probably right.

1.3 million Alabamans voted for Donald Trump last year. If Roy Moore had rallied 3/4 or even 2/3rds of those voters, he'd be celebrating his victory tonight.

He didn't even get half of them to the polls.

Right. It’s Trump’s fault that Roy Moore decided to go to Philadelphia for the Army/Navy football game on the weekend before election day. No offense to any Alabama Freepers out there, but it sounds like you have the dumbest Republicans in the country right now.

That’s their problem if they don’t believe the president’s words are classy, or if they wish to blame the president for what happened in Alabama.

At the end of the day, Alabama’s voters (what few bothered to show up) chose a new senator who has a 3 year term and represents a very conservative state. Jones can choose to toe the liberal line, or Jones can choose to be reelected; either way, 3 years is a pretty short term and the seat comes live again in the presidential election year.

Liberals aren’t going to throw away the seat; welcome to the newest blue dog Democrat who’ll annoy the hell out of the NuttRoots.

Trump had nothing to do with Moore losing, period.

“I have read 50 I’ve read 100 comments tonight blaming Trump for Moore’s loss.”

I have not seen one post blaming Trump.

You guys were actually for the Democrat, Jones.

Pathetic. Well, enjoy the Dem Senate in 2018.

I was wondering if it was Trump’s fault, a referendum on Trump in Alabama.

But Roy clearly won the primary, so he WAS popular. And at this moment America is obsessed with sexual accusations, so much so, it is a bigger issue for them than the economy.

This was aimed at the female vote and it worked.

I think Moore lost his own race with that lousy appearance on Hannity. We were left defending 30 somethings dating teenagers. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to do that again.

What on earth are you talking about? The tweet is perfect, and Trump had NOTHING to do with Moore losing - nor have I noticed ANY sentiment here blaming Trump for this loss.

I fail to see how Trump is to blame here. The seat should never have been up for early election, but better to lose now, and win in the Fall.
