This is just stupid. And we wonder why younger people seem so damned screwy to us.
Being 15 is an awkward time for everyone except the luckiest of kids, and even then.
Ever see the movie “Summer of 42”? Remember how awkward it was for a kid to even put his arm around a girl in a theater?
And it was awkward without the threat of being on a sex offender list, being sued, being publicly humiliated, or being handed over to the police and being arrested for assault.
I feel sorry for kids today, I really do.

No, never. Ever. And if I tried to put my hand somewhere the girl didn’t want it and she pushed it away, that was it.
I know all guys aren’t like that, but I wasn’t going to ASK for permission, and I didn’t know any girls who GAVE permission, which only left one alternative, and that was to try.
I assume it would have been just as difficult for a girl to offer as it would have been for me to ask.
