About 20 protesters gathered outside Sen. Susan Collins Bangor home midday Sunday to voice their opposition to the sweeping Republican tax reform bill and Collins vote in favor of it.
Carrying signs reading Shame, No Tax Cut for Fat Cats, Dont Trickle on Me and other slogans, the protesters formed a long line along the edge of the road, attracting occasional honks of support from drivers passing through the quiet neighborhood.
Well,it's a slow new day;)
Here's some old songs I like,The Best of the Andy Williams Christmas Shows
Twenty people? TWENTY? hahahahahaha!
So people all over the country are protesting lower taxes????
They are all nuts, Jim.
BANGOR was in todays puzzle: seat of Penobscot County.
Twenty clueless idiots.
attention, get away from my home
That 14 year old sounds like a moonbat in training.
I live in Maine and five of these “protestors” were arrested for blocking the office of Susan Collins at the federal building in downtown Bangor, Maine.
They had to donate $100 each to charity as part of their plea bargain.
One guy with a protest sign at the federal building which read “Shame” is a cause a day kid. I’ve seen him at union protests in front of WalMart and at my local polling place in Hancock Co., Maine gathering signatures for some lefty ballot iniative. I’m sure he is an SEIU agitator.
I’m sick of these damn people.
And one of them a 14 year old who doesn't have a clue what's going on.
Folks, collins cannot be trusted, we need Judge Roy Moore in the Senate.
Class envy. Tool of the democratic party.
Me too!
Lefties protesting Susan Collins. Who’d a thunk it?
How do 20 protestors form a “long line”?
They Don”t FAKE NEWS
There will be no tax bill...the GOP will blow it
A fake protest, probably staged by hired activists from the local AFSCME or SIEU union.
I was a bit shocked when she voted for the Senate bill. But then the things she needed to vote for it are the throw-sways in conference - so I expect and I hope she doesn’t vote for the conference product. That gets you to 50-50 and Pence votes to break the tie, if no one else (McCain?) defects. This is kinda, sorta why Roy Moore matters. No Roy Moore and then you have to keep Susan Collins happy. Which is not a good idea. It’s also why Al Franken was so ambiguous about his resignation date. If he left last week and Gov. Dayton took his time in selecting a replacement, you could rush th conference and still lose another Republican. At the same time I suspect there is one Democrat (probably from W. VA) who might have a price for crossing over. That is well known to President Trump.
Has anyone seen the Tax Bill yet ? LOL
