This gerrymandering problem is easy to solve with enough will to do it. There's nothing in the Constitution that says we need to have 435 representatives. It stopped growing with the population in 1913. Even with 100,000:1 constituents to representatives ratio, it is very very tough to carve up districts.

In case you're wondering, the ratio is 700,000:1 now.

that adds extra staff in DC & at home for each Rep.
Do not see any support for that on Conservative radio, Tv or prominent legislators. Maybe after Convention of States or proposed during Convention?

No Constitutional scholar here, but I suppose it becomes a federal question because the gerrymandering 1) affects the state’s representation in Congress and 2)presents an impediment to the voting rights of some of the state’s citizens.
