The media is complicit in spreading lies. Some they know are lies and some they may not but as long as it smears conservative and traditional values, they will spread the lies with all their power.

“So what? He still signed her yearbook.”

1. What if he did? Signing a yearbook is not a crime. It says and means nothing. Who refuses to sign a yearbook if asked?

2. It’s signed by someone named “Ray,” IMO. Not even Ray Moore, let alone Roy Moore.

So I don’t think Roy Moore signed it in any event.

1. No law against it, but what he wrote seems to be a bit inappropriate, no? http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/12/08/roy-moore-accuser-admits-forged-part-yearbook-inscription-attributed-to-alabama-senate-candidate.html

2. Handwriting analyst Arthur T. Anthony disagrees with you. https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/roy-moore-signature-yearbook-handwriting-expert_us_5a2aeb19e4b0a290f0507d2b.

Hm...a handwriting expert named Arthur Anthony says the signature belongs to Roy Moore. And for someone to forge such a relatively-long sentence would be very difficult. The added information was undoubtedly not done by Moore, but the rest of it looks genuine.

I am not vested in his guilt...just trying to discover the truth.

It seems fairly obvious that the additional writing was simply added by someone (Nelson) documenting that a “celebrity” had signed their yearbook. Perfectly understandable. But the rest of what was written seems very obvious that it was written by Moore. Handwriting analyst Arthur Anthony has determined that. So what are you going to do with that information? And why is Moore denying that he wrote it?

True, but that does not change the fact that a handwriting expert determined that it was Moore’s signature. And the sentence he wrote was relatively long, making it even more difficult to forge.

Are you talking about the cursive part of the entry or the block letters?

Please tell me you are not as dumb as your nonresponse make you look. Never mind...I think I know the answer already.

True, signing a yearbook does not make anyone a pervert. But if you sign it (and a handwriting expert concluded it was Moore’s writing), why not just admit it?

A bit inappropriate? I don’t think so. I think it’s fine.

I appreciate the link the the handwriting analyst but the accuser herself is saying she wrote it, now.

Actually, handwriting expert Arthur Anthony concluded that it was Roy Moore’s signature. And that fact that the entry was relatively long (it was not just his signature) would help make the analysis even more sure.

She is saying that she added the additional information, not the signature alleged to be Moore’s. Big difference.

LOL!! Gloria Allred’s expert ?

Fine. Let Moore’s Attorney have his handwriting expert check it over. Any guess what happens there?
That’s right, one yes and one no. Right back where we started.

But none of that is necessary now, Nelson admitted to altering her proof. She’s toast whether her claim happened or not.

Nelson admitted to adding the text in block letters, not the text in cursive. Totally understandable that a teenaged girl would add that information about a “celebrity.”

Teenaged girl? She's almost 60 years old.

A celebrity? True now, but not in 1977.

The Huffington Post article you link to here says the following:

The lawyer, who is representing Nelson ― one of several women who have accused Moore of sexual misconduct and assault ― said that at Allred’s request, an expert had analyzed the GOP Alabama Senate candidate’s handwriting and signatures in public documents and compared them to the message and signature in Young’s yearbook.

In other words, Gloria Allred hired that "handwriting expert", and is paying him some unknown (by us) amount of money for his stated opinion here, just days before the election.

Now, if this was a matter being adjudicated in a court of law, both sides in the case would have their "handwriting analysis experts" examine the handwriting samples, and give their opinions, and they would likely come to opposite conclusions, meaning one group of experts was wrong, and probably lying. (Handwriting analysis is not an exact science, and so-called "experts" often come to differing conclusions.)

In this case, Gloria Allred has not even allowed the yearbook to be publicly released so that other "handwriting analysis experts" could independently study the handwriting, the ink, the paper, etc.   Gloria Allred is a known liar.   Her client is a known and admitted liar.   How in the hell could anybody jump to the unlikely conclusion that this handwriting guy Gloria Allred hired is telling the truth here?

I understood that half of the “signature” was added. I.e. the “Moore” part.

Which begs the question is that “Ray” or “Kay” or “Roy?” Even if “Ray,” it could be any “Ray.”

Lastly even if Roy Moore it doesn’t mean much to me.

But she’s a liar.

She didn’t have a phone in her bedroom either, according to her mom.

And she has a history of accusing people.

I guess if you are dead set on believing her no matter what, you will. God forbid you ever get falsely accused of anything.

Did Allred give him permission to look it over?
