Trump's Embassy Decision Stands Up to Arab Intimidation

President Donald Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital, beginning the process of relocating the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, has prompted warnings of Arab violence. The concern is that the move may undermine the chances of advancing peace efforts.

King Abdullah of Jordan warned of the "dangerous repercussions" of such a move and Mahmoud Abbas warned of the consequences that such step may have on the peace process, as well as the overall stability of the region.

These arguments were echoed by several countries including Turkey, Egypt, and Syria.

France decalred that such an issue should be resolved in a final status negotiation between both sides. Some Democrats and media analysts in the U.S expressed similar concerns.

However, the UK and the Vatican wisely avoided strong judgements on the subject.

Those arguments expressing fear of Arab rage, have failed to see the big picture.

Israel offered a solution on Jerusalem during negotiations with the Palestinians. In 2000, during the Camp David Conference Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak offered sovereignty over Arab Jerusalem and Palestinian custodianship over the Muslim holy sites.

That offer was far-reaching and unprecedented, where Israel broke the dogma of one unified Jerusalem, a gesture President Clinton fully acknowledged and admired.

Likewise, he agreed to concede territories in East Jerusalem, in the Old City, and the Temple Mount. Then Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat demanded sovereignty over all of East Jerusalem and over the holy sites. In order to defend his position on Jerusalem, Arafat was even willing to shame himself with absurd arguments and distorted facts like, "the ruins of the old Jewish temple were not in Jerusalem but in Nablus."

In fact, if this is intimidation and not merely a more convenient location as well as support of an ally, the move is the necessary response to stay oppositional to Mohammedan attempts, foreign or domestic, to dominate US policy.

So if Muslims start rioting over the next few days, doesn’t this forever DESTROY the Big Media myth that Islam is peaceful, and Muslims are non-violent?

Because when have Christians ever rioted en masse, anywhere, in the last few years? Western people didn’t even riot after the cowardly 9-11 Muslim attack.

So, we might get TWO historic events happening this week. The world is watching how the Muslims react to this, and taking notes.

The best way to avoid war is to be very clear where you stand with everyone concerned, so there is no mistake.

When the Argentines were agitating for the return of the Falklands, we pretended to be neutral, and believing it they invaded. We weren’t neutral, we backed Britain as we ought to have done. But our lack of clarity is a big part of what caused the war.

The same thing happened in the first Gulf War. Saddam called our ambassador in to discuss his problem with Kuwait. She told him, we have no alliance with Kuwait, and no opinion about it. He took that as a green light and invaded which led to the war. Had we been clear about where we stood, he might never have risked it.

No one should doubt where we stand with Israel. We might love doing business with the Saudis, who doesn’t? Our politicians and State Department may be bought and sold to the Saudis down almost to the last man. But the heartland stand with Israel, and so does Trump.

This is actually very entertaining, because after *decades* of angry, belligerent threats against Israel, it is “push comes to shove” time.

On the Arab side, all the hysterics are *demanding* that they must attack and destroy Israel RIGHT NOW. Even though they are completely powerless to do so, and Israel is poised to kick seven bells out of them if they try.

The other alternative is for them to overthrow their corrupt leaders and replace them with more belligerent ones. Which would be an Arab on Arab bloodbath.
