Johnny Henderson of Cottonwood Shores says his family was driving down Farm to Market 1431 about 8 miles east of Marble Falls on Thursday when they came across a couple of cars going suspiciously slow. Henderson says one took off, then the other tailgated his family’s SUV, eventually ramming into them, causing them to lose control. Henderson says at about that time, an off-duty Austin Police Department officer pulled up and asked if everything was all right. Henderson says before he knew it, the man who’d run his family off of the road had pulled a gun and began shooting at his wife and son.

There’s still a lot of questions. This tells basically the same info I read on this yesterday.
Same with the Ambush Shooting of the police officer in San Marcos.
Information about the suspect has been very slow to come out.
Why do we know almost nothing about the perpetrators of these violent attacks?
The SM guy’s name was accidentally released that first evening by a reporter and you should have seen the other reporters’ faces. That said it all. Then no one repeated the name on any of the channels until last night. All hush hush.

Because they’re not white? I’m just guessing. Complete shot in the dark and all.
Imagine this story for the kid’s college application.
The video and story just add to the confusion. What the driver/dad said who beat the guy until his hand and arm were broken in two different places didn’t make a whole lot of sense. Why did the police officer allow someone to beat the crap out of another person who had already been shot? And they are saying that their car that has a little dent in the rear quarter panel can’t be driven and they can’t make an insurance claim to get their car fixed until they know the name of the other guy who attacked them? Did they have their own insurance?
Looknig at his skin color and listening to his accent, it seems his name should be Johnny Hernandez. Very confusing story.
Their insurance company probably wants the other guy’s name so they can make his insurance company pay the damages. Could also be the LE wants to keep the car for evidence. There’s a lot more to this story than just a fender bender and road rage.

No. I just think it is strange a brown skinned family whose male adult that speaks with a Spanish accent is named Johnny Henderson.
Update - The unidentified bad guy got a gun from under his car seat and began firing at the family. The family ran into some tall grass. The unidentified officer showed up and he and bad guy fired at each other. Bad guy was shot twice and ran into the tall grass where the father was. Bad guy was still armed and smiled at the father. Father hit him several times before finally knocking bad guy unconscious at which time he was able to turn the guy over, grab his arm behind him and take the gun.
