Sean Hannity And Steve Bannon Fear Deep State Will Arrest Them For Supporting President Trump

Fox News personality and radio host Sean Hannity told former White House strategist and Breitbart executive Steve Bannon that he thought that both of them “may end up in jail” for defending President Trump against a supposed “deep state” impeachment efforts.

Last night Bannon hosted a special edition of “Breitbart News Tonight.” Hannity joined Bannon and Fox News political analyst Pat Goodell. It wasn’t long before the panel began to speculate about a secret plan orchestrated by “deep state” officials to remove Trump from the White House.

“I think they’re coming after Trump because they understand they have to destroy Trump, because to destroy Trump is not to destroy Trump, it’s to destroy this movement. They want to take that voice away from the forgotten man,” Bannon said.

Hannity added, “This is not about General Flynn. This isn’t about Paul Manafort. They’re just pawns.”

“Amen,” Bannon said.

“The ultimate goal—Andy McCarthy had a great piece. This is about the impeachment of the president. This is not about Trump-Russia collusion,” Hannity said.

Goodell brought up the idea that the government is carrying out a “slow-motion, steady effort to basically have a coup d’etat.” He said that he believes America is experiencing a “post-constitutional society” and that secret government forces are “willing to destroy this country to keep control.”

Hannity then speculated that “people like us” who have supported Trump and attempted to discredit the Russia probe will eventually end up in jail.

“By the way, people like us may end up in jail. Let me tell you. They will stop at nothing. This is what I’m trying to get across to people. This is serious. This is the rule of law in this country now,” Hannity said.

“Amen, Amen,” Bannon said.

Christianity has been practiced for over 2000 years in often horrible environments. Oddly enough it seems to do well in times and areas where repression is the rule. So, I don’t buy the idea that Christianity or even all forms of secular personal freedom need rely on a narrow political environment to flourish.

By politics I mean electoral, governmental politics. Christians should avoid it like the plague.

Remember how the leaders of the French Revolution, who sent thousands to the guillotine to purge France of a leader they despised, themselves ultimately went to the guillotine.

You keep holding on to those old fairytales, but REAL history tells us all those muslim countries USED to be Christian.

Furthermore, one of the first crises of the Ancient Church was what to do with “believers” who recanted under persecution, then survived the ordeal. The Bible was never very clear about whether a Bishop who recanted his faith is entitled to reclaim his office once he’s safe again.

The whole tradition of praying to saints started out as reverence for the earthly remains of faithful martyrs. So it’s not like either side is going to abandon their position, easily.

Personally, I’d rather address the problem of being allowed to live as a professing Christian by making sure the political climate is conducive to Christian practices, than disdaining a little forethought, and suffering the unnecessary consequences of allowing pagans to make all the policy decisions for me.

Sort of a chicken and egg conundrum. Is a benevolent political environment a precursor for Christianity or is it the other way around? I think that Christianity sets the tone. Or said another way, politics is down stream of religion and culture. And economics. With apologies to Andrew Breitbart.

As for “fairy tales” I didn’t get what you were alluding to.

Politics is a scam and we’re suckers for playing.

I hit the talk radio pay dirt by finding Republic Broadcasting Network, Genesis Communications Network, CRN Digital Radio Radio America and Red State Talk Radio. So many informative shows and conservative radio. There is probably more rsdio sites and shows I haven’t found yet.
