"there now fears Kim could be readying the dreaded Juche Bird, his most shocking weapons test to date."

We hear talk that our anti-missile "Star Wars" defenses can possibly take out missiles in the boost phase, intermediate phase, and descent phase. That may be true, but our Tomahawk cruise missiles can certainly take out missiles in their "sitting on the launch pad" phase. Since Kim has already threatened the entire US with these missiles, it seems to me that that's the 'phase' we should start with.

Agree! We should be destroying the pad as NK preps them for launch. Since they’ve already fired missiles over Allies territory, the Casus belli already exists.

All their recent launches have been via mobile launchers and require no outdoor prep. They can drive out some random hole in the ground deep in the mountains and launch in minutes. Even with all their leadership dead, they can be programmed to attack. No way to stop 100% unless you nuke every square mile of NK earth in one shot. And release vast clouds of fallout

Oh, and they’ve also successfully tested submarine based missiles.

All thanks to decades of idiot appeasers who didnt take them seriously until too late.

I believe they still have not been able to miniaturize a warhead enough. Kim is no doubt pushing to perform a full nuclear missile test but so far has not. The time to act is now before that happens

My concern here is that our deck watch officers can’t seem to master not running into other ships on steady courses and speeds in clear weather in the dark.

If we can’t manage that, then how to we deal with the 64,000 plus artillery pieces aimed at Seoul and take out the nuke capability too.
