Rosie O’Donnell made a strategic mistake early on in relation to Donald Trump. The winner of the 2006 Miss USA contest, Tara Roberts, was subject to some revelations about questionable activities, but Donald Trump was willing to offer a second chance to Miss Roberts. Apparently this offended Rosie greatly, as Rosie began to tear into Trump’s multiple marriages, multiple bankruptcies, and not at all a self-made made man, but a “snake-oil salesman on Little House On The Prairie”.
Rosie, you do not kick the hornets’ nest and expect no consequences. Trump wheeled around and let go with both barrels of a 12-gauge shotgun loaded with slugs at close range. This should have brought down the typical critic, but Rosie has enough body mass that most of the impact was absorbed and few vital organs were in danger. At any rate, it was not a kill shot, and Rosie warmed to the exchange, doubling down on her original insults and charges.
Donald Trump played with Rosie much as a cat plays with a mouse, putting mock holds on her, releasing her, then whacking her down again.
Rosie has had a stressful life off and on. Some 95% of it was entirely self-induced, or in Rosie’s case, probably every bit of the grief was internally generated.
That is my take on things, too. Why they use the term “gay” is beyond me...they are the unhappiest people on the face of the earth.
She’s gotta be pissed that Weinstein and all the others never made a play for her.
