The FBI is run by men who are of dubious character and morally bankrupt. Sadly, many Americans now are growing up with no church, little or no rules, no mother and/or father, plus the extended family many of us had.

“I suspect that in a few weeks after Roy Moore is seated these guys are going to suddenly find more energy.”

Waiting to see which GOP Senators welcome Senator Moore. The one’s who don’t should immediately go on a short ( maybe long) list to be RIFed out of the Senate at the first opportunity.

With this Mueller and Flynn thing. A tax bill will not mean anything.

Chicken Little, watch out...

As soon as McCain folded, I was pretty sure it would pass the Senate

WILL tax reform be improved upon, at a later date(s)? All conservative, pro-Trump candidates for ‘18 U.S. House AND for ‘18 U.S. Senate need to campaign on improvements to whatever the final tax reform package ends up becoming. Ditto, decent Free Market Health Care Reforms. Ditto, shrinking the size of the federal government,...

“Funny how they can always give tax cuts tot he donor class but, Can’t gt anything else of a conservative nature passed.”

The gop faction of the uniparty knows what side the bread is buttered on.

Politics is a scam and we’re suckers for playing.

I don’t see the House and 50 votes +1 in the Senate ever agreeing on a tax bill.

I don’t believe it will happen.

I don’t know...I’m not part of the big donor class.

But, I’ll be getting a tax cut.

Nope. That’s why the house will likely accept the senate bill. No conference needed if one body simply accepts the other’s bill.

” That’s why the house will likely accept the senate bill. “

I don’t think the House has the votes without the $10,000 property tax deduction. At least a dozen more will peal off in addition to the 13 Republicans that voted NAY last time.

C-SPAN2 has the Senate on now, but they’re just milling around so far.

I don’t think so. When push comes to shove, money talks and BS walks. The uniparty knows who it works for. They’ve been put on notice to pass it or else.

This is all reminiscent of the fight over the wall street bailout under W. There wasn’t a chance in hades that the bailout wasn’t going to pass even after it initially failed.

I think the tax bill becomes law.

Politics is a scam and we’re suckers for playing.

...C-SPAN2 has the Senate on now, but they’re just milling around so far...

That’s the usual situation in the Senate and the House.

Infuriating, ain’t it! Our tax dollars to keep a posh, blue-carpeted playroom going.

The actual vote is predicted for 1 or 2 PM. Veep Pence will arrive to take over the Chair and preside over the voting. His vote won't be needed....but he wants to be there for the Big Reveal and I don't blame him.

Behind the scenes, Pence labored hard on the President's behalf for passage of this bill, and I'm happy he'll be on the scene to enjoy the fruits of his labors.

I won't be staying up to see it, however. Had enough of the repetitive Flynn news all day and evening. Took a change of pace to watch "Cops" where the good guys always win and the bad guys get zapped to the ground to eat dust....like what's gonna happen in a couple of hours, lol.
