Only rookies fail pre-employment drug tests.

Thanks for the ping.

I concur with the congress critter. Refer Madness was a lie from beginning to end. Cannabis prohibition is based on a series of lies & deceit.

After dealing with prohibitionists in FR the last couple of years, IMO some FR prohibitionists hate the fact someone feels better than they do as they go about their day. Not all. But some.

More Constitutional freedom is always best, IMO.

When it comes to piloting my plane, building my house, fixing my car, performing my surgery, driving my mass transpo, repairing my furnace, etc...

Damn straight.

Big pharma opposes legalization because they cannot profit from a plant that grows on the side of the road.

Barring genetic modification, a plant cannot be copyrighted.

I would rather encounter a stoned driver than a drunk one

“When people use pot or consume excessive amounts of alcohol, they are mostly doing it to create a blur.”

Fallacy. You have no credible way of knowing why exactly someone is using cannabis unless they tell you.

I’m a thankful medical marijuana patient in Florida. I don’t use cannabis to “create a blur” but to successfully treat depression & anxiety after 20+ years of Pharma meds didn’t work. It works for me & I function at a much higher level than I did before I started using cannabis in 2015.

God created every plant and seed for our use, or so I’m told.

How would you expect God to handle an attack of appendicitis?

Or a sucking chest wound?

I see PTSD patients at our local dispensary here in Jacksonville all of them deserve the freedom to chose the medicine they feel works best for them.

That some abuse cannabis is not surprising. People have been abusing medicines for centuries. This will end the day Christ comes in all His Glory. Not one minute before.

Edibles are tricky things. If you don’t know the amount of THC in the edible you should never eat it.

Low dose edibles allow me to work all day without issue. Granted, I’m not driving once I take the 1st dose & that’s fine because I work at home. I do get out an walk a 2-3 miles everyday which I could not do prior to using cannabis starting in 2015.

As will all things. YMMV :)

Urinalysis is easy to defeat.

Hair and mouth swabs, less so, but did indeed defeat a mouth swab test several years ago.

It involved lots of mouthwash, and Altoids.

No one is advocating for stoned pilots just like they are not advocating for drunk pilots. So please try rationalizing again.

Former Tennessean here. Current gun owner here, too. Lemme see. Which would I covet more? Getting high or being able to buy guns?

Until this issue is settled on the federal level, it would be imprudent to smoke that stuff. Cf Hawaii and the justice official last name "Ballard."

It”s my understanding that medicine can be produced from cannabis oils that relieve pain but do NOT get you high. My state (PA) has recently approved those, and when it is available I may try some for my Osteo Arthritis. By prescription, of course.

I am a professional and a senior manager and I got high last night. Not for the pleasure of it, but because I had been suffering for severe whole body muscle cramps. I have a prescription muscle relaxer and after 3 days on those with very little relief, I lit up.

I slept like a log and didn’t wake up with that groggy feeling.
