NEW YORK (AP) — President Donald Trump will appear at a campaign-style rally in Pensacola, Florida, next week, an event set less than 20 miles from the Alabama border four days before the state’s special Senate election.
That’s according to one person familiar with the planning who was unauthorized to discuss the president’s movements publicly.
The move comes after the White House insisted that President Trump would not campaign in Alabama on behalf of embattled Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore, who has faced multiple allegations of sexual misconduct over the last month.
Several Republican leaders in Congress have called on Moore to quit the race altogether....

Anyway, on to the topic: I think it is a smart move by the President; he will certainly get a lot of good press in AL with such an appearance so close to there, without openly supporting Roy Moore. Is it Roy Goode? mixing his name up with the excellent Netflix show, Godless. ;)

I haven’t been following this today, but let me hazard a guess: It’s John McCain or some of his buddies; maybe even Mitch McConnell’s friends. Paul Ryan?
Who knows, but after the health care debacle, I bet his enemies are counting on ‘lesser’ (less powerful) representatives to do their dirty work.
President Trump must immediately unfriend them on Facebook. LOL! ;)
Why is the WH being coy on this? Just campaign for Moore and let it hang out. The allegations are bogus, Trump himself was accused of the exact same thing last year.
This way is more dramatic. It also will drive the Goebbelsmedia even crazier than a straight endorsement.

He did the same thing during the campaign, blindsided Hillary, who stayed out of flyover land as much as she could. I think that’s how he carried Iowa.

Why give them ammo to spray with their spittle when he can accomplish the goal w/o doing so? Makes them feel even more helpless and useless when they have no meat to chew on.
