"I've always heard stories about, you know, him kind of fooling around or whatever," Brzezinski said. Scarborough said he attended a Friars Club event several years ago for a roast of Lauer, and said many jokes were made about his sexual pursuits at work.
"The most powerful people in media, and everybody that came up were making fun of Matt Lauer, not pushing himself on people, but the whole thing was, he does his show and then he has sex with people, with employees," Scarborough said.

"So was this whispered behind closed doors? No, it was shouted from the mountaintops and everybody laughed about it," he added.
Same with Weinstein and Spacy
eewwwwwwwww, yuck, disgusting
Greg Guttfield had a good summary of their relationship on his weekend show. Basically said they deserve each other.
Methinks NBC will soon get a whole new set of administrators and defense lawyers.......................
A lot of “whispering” going on behind closed doors. After Matt push the locking switch! Some suggest kidnapping. No attorney here. But surely “unlawful restraint” comes to mind. He and NBC may be giving out million$ before this mess if over.
We’ve all known that the fake news biz has always been a den of iniquity. The only thing changed is the operating environment.
The pattern continues:
Weinstein —
Years of silence, followed by “Oh, everybody knew.”
Spacey —
Years of silence followed by “Oh, Everybody knew.”
Rose —
Years of silence followed by “Oh, everybody knew.”
Lauer —
Years of silence followed by “Oh, everybody knew.”
And yet, in all cases, when the news first comes out, people are tearful and shocked and aghast. But it’s fake. They knew all along.
They also all know about the person who will be outed next week. They just don’t have the guts to say anything today. But next week they will be “Shocked” at the latest turn of events and then it will be “Oh, everybody knew.”
Something doesn’t sound right about that whole “locking switch” angle. I can see why someone would want to lock a private office from the inside, but a locking device that trapped someone in the office would seem to be a clear violation of even a half-assed building code.
The switch just meant he did not have to leave his desk to lock the door.
I doubt it was some secret third dead bolt.
In July 1997 the divorced Lauer met Annette Roque, a Dutch model, on a blind date. Just five months later they were engaged, and on October 3, 1998, they married in Water Mill, New York. They have a son, Jack Matthew (born 2001), and a daughter, Romy (born 2004).
In September 2006, while pregnant with their third child, Roque filed for divorce, citing cruel and inhumane treatment from Lauer, as well as Lauer demonstrating extreme anger and hostility toward her, according to the documents. The couple later reconciled. Their son Thijs was born in November 2006.

I agree. NBC is about to go through a C-Suite change. Upper management is gone and a new set in. Too much trash on NBC lately to allow it to continue.
A lot of this stuff is very bad and should be rightly condemned, BUT a lot of it is stuff that was considered acceptable for a long time. Why is it all being redefined now? Because they’re coming for Trump. Oh yes, the media is establishing their bona fides by going after their own for now. But probably every media organization is trying to track down every single female Trump interacted with to build a story against him. It’s coming. The only question is when.
Not that I’m defending any of the creeps who actually coerced or abused women. It’s just hard not to see where this is all going.
Joe should have just back-handed Mika.
Was wondering how long before (when, not if) this becomes a criminal prosecution.
Meanwhile Lauer and NBC better get their checkbooks ready.
Great move, Comcast. Get ready for shareholder lawsuits for failure of diligence.
cat fight. . . .
In your imagination only.
I was actually at that Friars Roast. I don’t remember they attacked Lauer’s sex life. I do remember most of the jokes were so filthy that a lot went over my head. In particular, Gilbert Gotfried’s.
A lovers quarrel how cute!
