IMO, multi-colored lights look tacky.

Amazing that they could not like it. Personally, I thought it was one of the most splendid and beautiful Christmas decorating jobs I have ever seen. It looks like a complete crystal fantasyland and I can see why the kids were wowed by it (and by her).

I also liked the beautiful Neapolitan Nativity Scene they used.
