After years of investigations that began primarily due to whistleblower videos, the FBI has finally decided to investigate Planned Parenthood for trafficking in human remains from abortion. Between that and the Center for Medical Progresss latest undercover video showing how PP colluded with medical company StemExpress to sell the most aborted baby parts for the most profit, the GOP should finally defund this shady organization that still receives a large guaranteed taxpayer subsidy.
Last week, The Hill reported that the FBI is seeking thousands of pages of unredacted documents from the Senate Judiciary Committees investigation and criminal referrals of Planned Parenthood and StemExpress. Attorney General Jeff Sessions confirmed in congressional testimony that the referrals findings could form the basis of criminal charges against Planned Parenthood and StemExpress, once verified by the Department of Justice.
Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) chairs the Senate Judiciary Committee, which referred Planned Parenthood to the FBI for investigation last December. Fox News reported that The report documents the failure of the Department of Justice, across multiple administrations, to enforce the law that bans the buying and selling of human fetal tissue, Grassley wrote last December asking both the Justice Department and the FBI to investigate. It also documents substantial evidence suggesting that the specific entities involved in the recent controversy, and/or individuals employed by those entities, may have violated that law.
Few mainstream news sources have reported that the FBI appears to be readying for a probe into Planned Parenthood. The fact that most mainstream news sources have consistently backed the entity explains this unfortunate lack of parity. Surely if a GOP pet cause or politician were found guilty of a crime or were under FBI investigation, every mainstream outlet would be broadcasting the fact daily.
The FBI has taken in interest in PP primarily due to the myriad undercover videos CMP has produced over the last several years. The first round of videos, which came out nearly three years ago, were explosive and damning. They revealed PP executives haggling over prices for human body partssuch as brain, liver, and heartsharvested from the human remains PP abortion centers generate. Recently, CMP has been slowly but steadily unveiling new videos, this time about PPs relationship with StemExpress, a medical procurement company whose employees dissected aborted babies to obtain these parts.
According to whistleblower Holly ODonnell, who worked for StemExpress, StemExpress workers were embedded in PP clinics to save money. They used private patient medical files leaked to them by Planned Parenthood management to locate women who could meet their body parts order quotas for the day through their scheduled abortions.
Inside PP abortion facilities, StemExpress workers would then dissect the aborted fetuses, package the desired organs, and ship them via FedEx to StemExpress, which sold them to medical researchers. Contrary to PPs explanation, the organization received payment from StemExpress for each fetal organ determined in the clinic to be usable. StemExpress paid its technicians a bonus depending on the number and type of body parts harvested, ODonnell says.
In the latest video, ODonnell says she witnessed coworkers take fetal body parts without patient consent from abortions at Planned Parenthood: If there was like a high-gestated fetus, I have witnessed there was no consent signed, and these women didnt know that it was getting taken, revealed ODonnell. Its stealing, its stealing baby parts.
Federal law currently requires parental consent before blood spots from newborn screenings are used in federally funded research. Ironically, President Obama signed the Newborn Screening Saves Lives Reauthorization Act of 2014 that established this legal requirement for consent. Besides the creepiness and ethical questions at play in its business activities, Planned Parenthood should not be operating under different rules, hence the FBIs move to investigate.
If the GOP wanted to show any ability whatsoever to follow through on previous commitments, they would work to defund PP. In light of recent information, this shouldnt be that hard to do. The GOP could use the FBIs investigation and the incriminating evidence found in the dozens of CMP videos, which led the House Oversight Committee to investigate PP, as a jumpoff point to tuck an amendment into current legislation, or draft something separately.
After more than a year of nationwide investigation last December, the Senate Judiciary Committee and the House Select Investigative Panel referred StemExpress and its business partners Planned Parenthood Mar Monte, Planned Parenthood Northern California, and Planned Parenthood Federation of America to the FBI and U.S. Department of Justice for further investigation and criminal prosecution.
The GOPs inability to summon enough political will to defund Planned Parenthood is inexplicable. While Americans are relatively divided on whether abortion should be legal, clear majorities oppose taxpayer funding for it and late-term abortions such as those that generate the most fetal body part dollars for Planned Parenthood.
Besides polling results and the imperative to fulfill a major campaign promise to Republican ovters, defunding Planned Parenthood is clearly the right thing to do. Planned Parenthood embodies a culture of death. Any institution that kills then dissects humans to profit from their body parts does not deserve taxpayer dollars. How many other gruesome videos does the Center for Medical Progress have to release before the GOP shows some backbone and no longer subsidizes 300,000 abortions a year with taxpayer money?
It not only gets half a billion dollars in the federal budget from tax payers who hate this murderous group, but it was also a beneficiary of the Obama slush fund from the Federal Reserve at the Consumer Protection Agency.

The kindly compassionate Clintons "forgot" to mention that they themselves opened the gates so that Planned Parenthood could traffic (and profit) in baby body parts.
(EXCERPT--WND.COM). Then-Pres Clinton is credited w/ opening up the market in fetal body parts. Since Clinton signed the National Institutes of Health Revitalization Act of 1993, fetal-tissue research has expanded into a federally subsidized multi-million dollar industry of selling human spare parts salvaged from abortions.
For example, the NIH budgeted $21 million in fiscal year 1999 for grants and awards for fetal tissue research. At the University of Washington, the NIH subsidizes the central laboratory for human embryology.
According to a lab notice obtained by WorldNetDaily, it can supply tissue from normal or abnormal embryos and fetuses of desired gestational ages between 40 days to term. Specimens are obtained within minutes of passage, and tissues are aseptically identified, staged, and immediately processed according to the requirements of individual investigators. The notice is signed by Alan G. Fantel of the department of pediatrics.
At the time, two organizations that profited from this growth industry were (the now defunct) Opening Lines, a business formerly located in West Frankfort, Illinois...... and Anatomic Gift Foundation, headquartered in Laurel, Maryland.
Opening Lines gives credit to President Clinton for opening up the lucrative business in fetal tissue trade.
According to Opening Lines, on January 22, 1993, Clinton lifted the moratorium on federal funding. This action created a great demand for fetal tissue and has made possible the development of treatments for individuals afflicted with serious diseases and disorders, says the sales brochure.
Both companies served as wholesalers for the marketing of baby body parts to researchers, drug companies, hospitals and universities. These groups harvest the baby parts from abortion clinics and ship them to their customers.
Opening Lines provides fetal tissue researchers with a fee for service schedule, which gives prices for each body part. For example, Opening Lines charged:
<><> $150 for a spinal column;
<><> $400 for an intact embryonic cadaver;
<><>$75 for 8-week-old baby's eyeballs (40% discount for a single eye);
<><>$150 for two arms or legs; and,
<><> $100 for the skin of a 12-week-old baby.
This is so beyond the pale. Mengele could learn from them.
God knows this is late, overdue and more than necessary, it’s imperative. God forgive us for letting this travesty lie dormant for so long after being outed.
Comatose Sessions finally nibbles at a second project and this is one important one, along with his reportedly and conceivable progress against M-13 gangs. (Are they out of business yet? If not, why not?)
After nearly a year sitting in the big chair at Justice, Sessions eeks out a little sign of at least still having a heartbeat.
On a couple of issues, he rises long enough to dispatch a few guys to go do the work, before he goes back to sleep.
Sessions might have been busier than you think.
Who says they are investigating? Congressional Investigators can’t even get the records. How do you investigate “nothing”? AG Sessions has no intention of acting on this matter. If so he would have done this already.
Getting beyond the treachery involved with committing abortions for a moment isn’t it strange women have the pay Planned Parenthood for the abortion, then Planned Parenthood turns around and sells the baby parts and pockets the money?
Do women sign a release form, saying it’s okay for Planned Parenthood to use their aborted fetus for profit?
Seems to me Planned Parenthood could be guilty of selling body parts without permission, or disenfranchising the mother illegally.
Where was the mention publicly, that fetuses were going to be sold for profit?
What is the criminal exposure of those who purchased fetus body parts?
Are there no laws that govern this sort of thing?
When I first heard of it, I was sure this was a major scandal. So far, zip.
Good thing these congressional committees are doing some investigating, that the DoJ can finally look through a year later. Congress seems to be doing a much better job of determining who was actually guilty of medling in the election too - as in the deep state at the DoJ and intelligence agencies.
<< “Sessions might have been busier than you think.” >>
I think not.
After watching him playing at the role of Charlie with the football, or actually *being* Charlie with the football, while appearing before that last Congressional hearing, it was clear to me that Sessions was either plainly lying through his teeth, or else he was about as informed as dry tree bark, on what the hell was going on at Justice or at the FBI. Dumb.as.a.post. OR, play acting... (aka, “lying”).
He knew nothing, saw nothing and heard nothing, when he wasn’t praising Rosenstein, who has incidentally entirely taken over Sessions job.
Rosenstein prepped Charlie Football for that hearing and that is why not one utterance Charlie made varied not one degree from the Rosenstein letter to that committee, that was sent days earlier. Anything else asked of Charlie, he did not know and said so, or he filibustered with adjectives in a style similar to a slow motion released air bag.
He kept looking behind him at his staff with that deer in headlights expression, with eyes begging for help.
And in a muster of harrumph Charlie argued with Jim Jordan! Jordan had just dared to nail him with a common sense question, based on giving a litany of facts and events. Go figure.
That’s when I knew.
I’m giving credit to James O’Keefe and Project Veritas.
Planned Parenthood today, Harvard yesterday. Boy that schlub Sessions sure seems to be busy for being just a local yocal rube.
I totally concur with your assessment of Sessions’ last public appearance before Congress. It was painfully obvious he is completely out of the loop with what is actually going on there, as he could never directly answer almost any question. You’d have to ask someone else, I’d have to ask someone else, first time I’ve heard that blah blah blah.
He is clearly nothing but a figurehead sent out there to make excuses for what appears to be a failing and corrupt organization. IF thenDoJ is turned around, it will be by those manning it’s rank and file, as Sessions seems to have about as much control over it as a puppy dog walking out onto a busy highway. If others reading this think I’m being too hard look no furher than Trump’s Twitter account the last couple of days.
I hold no faith in any FBI that still has McCabe and #2 or a Justice Dept that has Rosenstein as #2, especially with what appears to be a very weak AG Sessions
AMEN!
Any Freeper could have accomplished as much as the couple of plugs in the breaking dam that Sessionsclosedcomatose has, and in HALF the time!
No Freeper would recuse themselves from serving their president and their country, claiming some unnecessary moral high ground they deemed higher than that.
Sessions made himself TOTALLY useless to the president and the people. A fraud, I’m afraid. The Peter Principle, in living color, at the very least.
I read in some small peep that MCCABE has been demoted. At last. Wish I could say where I read it, but hope he is confined to the caverns of the basement.
Nobody gets fired in DC, we know that. Merit is a foreign concept in our nation’s capitol.
The root of all this is that the rich and powerful use highly illegal medical ‘techniques’ to try and live longer and look better.
Baby stem cells, for instance. But the fetus must be alive when they are taken.
You can tell when they are taking parts to use in these illegal procedures because that’s the ones where there is no signed release or notification to the patient.
A mass murder crime that would have disappeared under a Clinton presidency.
