Anger at Special Counsel Robert Muller Burns White Hot on the Right Wing
The Hill ^ | 11/26/17 ast | BY JONATHAN EASLEY

Anger at Robert Mueller is burning white-hot on the right and in conservative media, where calls for the special counsel to recuse himself from the investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election have reached a fever pitch.

President Trump has largely held his fire on Mueller, even as the probe into his campaign officials has intensified. White House lawyers are hopeful that the investigation will end soon and absolve the president and his inner circle of wrongdoing.

But the influential conservative media outlets that Trump is known to follow closely have been building an expansive case against Mueller.

From Fox News to Breitbart and talk radio, conservative media has been drawing attention to Mueller’s relationship with fired former FBI Director James Comey and his hiring of Democrats for his investigative team. They also argue Mueller has gone far beyond his mandate of investigating Russian interference in the election.

Conservative media has taken a new tack against Mueller in recent weeks, zeroing in on the sale of Canadian mining company Uranium One to the Russia state-owned nuclear firm Rosatom.

Uranium One, at the time of the deal, held licenses for about 20 percent of America’s uranium production capacity. The sale was approved by nine members on the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) in 2010, while President Obama was in office. Mueller was the director of the FBI at the time.

But reporting by The Hill has shown that the FBI had knowledge of bribery and racketeering schemes at Tenex, a subsidiary of Rosatom, before CFIUS approved the deal.

Get used to disappointment.

Jeff Sessions is in place to ensure that Mueller brings down Trump.

Does CWII strike a cord. Consider that, if a duly elected President is removed from office for no reason save that he not an establishment toady, government will be imposed. Imposed, not elected - the very definition of dictatorship.

Trump is letting the ball down. Why? He can order Sessions to disband the current Mueller Special Counsel and set up a new one. Sessions has but two choices, step down as AJ or get the hell on board.

Sessions is too busy with his war on medical marijuana to go after real crime.

Why’d you go to the trouble of re-wording the article’s title, and then mis-spelling Mueller’s name in it? Titles on FR postings are supposed to appear exactly as they are written at the source.

He’s the Left Wing’s boy and they love him to death. He’s going to cause a “constitutional crisis” by “getting Trump”.

To me, it doesn’t matter who Mueller’s targets are.

Besides Mueller’s own deep-state background, a secretive, all-powerful, unlimited in scoop inquisitor is against the basic conservative notion of “rule of law” or limited government.

Mueller is hanging by a thread. When the FBI informant Chambers testifies on Uranium One, and provides documentary proof that the FBI knew of illegal Russian activity but did not pass on that information to either congress or the agencies entrusted with approving the deal, Mueller will be finished. He was head of the FBI at the time, and either Mueller didn’t know what he should have known, or he was part of a conspiracy to keep the information secret. At that point, Mueller can either resign, or Trump or Sessions can fire him, and while the media will howl, congress will back Trump up.

It has been over 6 weeks since the FBI informant brought all this information to the forefront. So far the LIBS and Reps have done everything to dismiss this information. They outed the CI. They have yet to schedule anything. They made an agreement to get the records and Fusion redacted the important information. No recourse because Sessions is AWOL. The informant was Campbell unless there are two of them. Never heard of Chambers!

“corrupt political criminals DON”T RECUSE THEMSELVES FROM POSITIONS OF POWER EVER.”

The corrupt political criminal Sessions recused himself from catching other corrupt political criminals.

I deeply resent Mueller burning taxpayer money like tinder in his vain wasteful traitorous attempt to take our president’s attention and time away from important national issues to have to focus on this utterly fabricated party-driven CRAP.

Now that he got the basketball coaches he can go after football coaches. Then after the mattress tag cutters.
