Go look at some Time Magazines from the 1950’s. The writing is clear, fair and informative and without a bunch of squed visuals.

If the Kochs get a controlling interest in Time, it would be hilarious if they converted it into a stridently conservative magazine.

They would need a very stern editor, but I bet they could get some top notch straight news people from the online conservative websites, and more editorial writers than you could shake a stick at. And not a single useless journalism degree among them.

The main subject sections could include stuff that the leftist MSM utterly ignores, such as a good international section, a crime section, a corrupt politician-bureaucrat-judge section, and a homemaking/economics section. So much content.

“While Time and other mainstream media were churning out factual stories about climate change” — who knew that Time did facts?

I thought Time had folded ages ago until I saw it at the dentist office. It was thinner than our little hometown newspaper.

What is time - about 12 pages now?

‘gets any thinner, you’ll be be to see through it.

You’ve been running it into the ground, dumbo - just to push your agenda. Youhaven’t noticed it isn’t working?

Can you imagine what it would be like to see your life’s work suddenly go down the drain? I can—right now. As a former Time editor who spent 13 years editing the magazine’s coverage of environmental issues, I am in despair...

Time was ruined a long time ago.

It was dead by the time America discovered the Internet, though maybe it passed on earlier and nobody noticed.

Today it's a ghost or a hollow shell or a make-work scheme for guys like Charles Alexander.

This Alexander blowhard left TIME in 2001, under circumstances which are unclear. He may have been let go for mental reasons.

Wow. So many fallacies in the article.

They printed “factual” anything confirming Global Warming? Wrong. They were printing the cult propaganda pieces.

The Cult of Man-Made Global Warming, which was proven so wrong they had to change the name to the Cult of Man-Made Climate Change, literally has been wrong on EVERY prediction. Not one single one. They predicted the ice caps would be gone on both ends. Wow. The latest expedition got stuck going to explore because of TOO MUCH ICE. Manhattan should have been underwater in 2000, 2005, 2008, 2013, 2018 and 2020. So far, the seas haven’t encroached on one single city street. Miami was supposed to be completely underwater by 2000. Ooops. 2005, 2008, 2013, 2018, 2020. Somehow, they have failed their predictive capability in the most spectacular failures imaginable.

Now, let’s go to complex modeling. A small derivative of the complex modeling they have is hurricane predictive analytics. Hurricane Irma had over 100 predicted paths with 3 days to go. They ALL missed on 10 miles of the strike location. They ALL missed on the landfall time. They ALL missed on landfall intensity. They ALL missed on the 2 hour location after landfall. They ALL missed on the 2 hour intensity after landfall. Compared to the measurements they’re doing and the models they’re trying to understand and they literally have been so wrong so many times, and they want us to believe it? How do we believe someone who lies to our face and then tells us to believe them again. When your models don’t match the data, you change the models, not the data. NASA didn’t follow that basic principle. In other words, they committed fraud. Period.
