If you look down your nose at a bolt action rifle because it has a plastic stock, you may be an Elmer Fudd.
A lot of us here care more about tight shot groups than polished, intricately carved Circassian walnut & gleaming blued barrels. And triple figure price tags.
And plastic doesn’t warp.
Fudds who don’t like modern sporting rifles can go mount Grampa’s shotgun.
LMAO! Go back and read my comment...and bring along a dictionary.
...
Yep. Your post #4 was excellent.
“Lever action”.
The “assault rifle” of its day.
Amen, brother.
It Must Be Jelly Cause Jam Don’t Shake That Way
LOL!
Well, shades of Dick Metcalf.
Anyone remember that journalistic debacle?
I don't think anyone is going to come to this fools aid in quite the manner some noted firearms gurus tried to in Metcalf's case.
The backlash that Nugent got for defending Metcalf still stings him.
He recently admitted that he would never do so again.
These people are ignorant.
Nothing in the 2nd Amendment is about hunting.
Nothing in the 2nd Amendment draws a comparison between what is needed for hunting versus what is needed for self-defense versus what is needed to dispose of a tyrannical government.
Period.
These damned apologists and word twisters need to eat fecal manner and expire.
Yea man! The end result of harmony with nature is a trip down a digestive tract. The only real question is whether you are making the trip, or a bunch of other fuzzy or feathered nature participants are going through yours...
The second amendment has nothing to do with hunting.
It has everything to do with bearing arms against an oppressive government or invading armies and self defense.
So our weapons should be of the same lethality and effectiveness as that of our own government.
I like all traditional and classic firearms, including thermonuclear weapons.
I would just restrict the range ares for the nukes to areas like DC and Sacramento.
Does bear spray work on oppressive governments?
Grew up there and spent my formative years there. Spent most of the last 30+ years away traveling and living elsewhere. Still consider it home, but not the place I knew.
The range is not only alienating business, they also contribute to the division amongst those who should be standing shoulder to shoulder.
So very right. If I go hunting, it's my bolt action 30.06 in my hands. If i'm checking a noise in the middle of the night inside the house it's my S&W 28, and if outside it's a Mini-30. Some folks seem to ignore the 'right tool' for motto.
+3. On point.
What will they say when the antigunners try to outlaw his “sniper rifle” and “street sweeper” shotgun?
Everyone should own at least one rifle with which they can shoot the eraser off a pencil at 100 yards.
You can expand that area to any area with a high concentration of blacks, i.e. pretty much any large city in the US.
Could watch That All Day!
And much more dangerous.
