Haven’t we been saying that for years? Even BO made a couple of speeches about the importance of fatherhood, something I wish he would devote some energy to now that he’s an ex-President. It would be a constructive use of his post-presidency.
The left deliberately destroyed the Black family unit (and specifically the paramount importance of Black fathers) to get them dependent on the Democrat party. Until that aspect is repaired, the Black community will continue to suffer.

When I was little, my Dad, sister and I belonged to Dads and Daughters. It was awesome; camping trips, etc. Fathers can join clubs like that with their sons, taking away the impulse to join gangs.
My boss saw, when his son was around fifteen or sixteen, that his son was starting to get into trouble. So he took up kayaking with him. His son got cleaned up and now is a productive member of society. Fathers have a role that mothers can never replace.
Not father figures. Not Grandma’s not mom’s it’s lack of Dad’s lack of Dad’s lack of Dad’s lack of Dad’s lack of dads... End of story

That and 60% have psych problems or mental disabilities. Our prisons today are the mental hospitals of yesterday. Reason? State, County, and Local federal aid. $$$ for each prisoner.
