Eagerly anticipating her English students delving into “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” Maimona Afzal Berta arrived early to school Sept. 11. Her classroom walls at Fischer Middle School depicted a London skyline; soon the room would also include the famous Platform 9¾, a Hogwarts sorting hat and hanging replicas of floating lanterns.
But on walking up she was stunned by a hateful reality. Anti-Muslim slurs and obscenities were scrawled on her classroom’s windows and door. Spray-painted graffiti also defaced other rooms and rooftop air-conditioning units at the San Jose campus.

Maybe the attention being drawn towards the teacher isn't the result of her wearing a head scarf but by all of the Commie political propaganda she covers the walls of her public school classroom with. The accompanying photo in the article clearly shows the raised "Resist" fist on the wall behind her.
Plaster her walls with pictures of the WTC when muzzies crashed planes into them. Oh, sorry, that would be hate speech.
Did she apply the “anti-muslim” slurs herself, or did she hire somebody to do it?
This article has hype, emotion and propaganda (in sum, FAKE NEWS) written all over it.

Where’s their “separation of church and state” thing here? How can she be allowed to wear that religious headscarf in public school...
People should read the article and look at the pictures. In this commie school with this commie principal, this commie teacher and all the editorializing by whoever wrote the article... the whole story feels like a hoax. I have a hard time believing that any of this teacher’s brainwashed special ed 8th graders have the cojones to grant her wish to be some type of martyr/victim.
Bet you $5 she was in on it. People THINK critical thoughts about muslins, but they rarely act on them. And public school kids are so immersed in tolerance, they wouldn’t think to do this.

Looked up the school online. Rates a 3 out of 10 for academic performance. 22% performing at grade level in English and math. Student body is 1% white.
That quote alone is enough to convince me this is a hoax, and teacher and principal are in on it.
Got news for the burka babe. ALL teachers are harassed. Try being a White teacher in Detroit? No tears for you.
