...“When I heard Beverly Nelson’s story, there were several details that were different from what I remember. I was nervous at coming forward because of all the attention this story has gotten, but as a moral and ethical person I had to speak up about what I know to be true,” Ledbetter recounted. “I was a waitress at Olde Hickory for almost three years from 1977-1979, and I never saw Roy Moore come in to the restaurant. Not one time.”...

Here you have it. A person putting herself on the line to oppose what appears to be an evil scheme at this point. When a newspaper like the Washington Post goes fishing, they will come up with some who love the limelight. Any charges resulting from such a thing should be thoroughly investigated in the proper way, beginning with an evaluation of the accuser. I would make a large bet that people in Alabama who are alive from 40 years ago know something about Roy Moore and, also, many probably know the accusers. Alabama will decide what they want to do with all this, not the Washington swamp.

"I never saw Roy Moore come in to the restaurant. Not one time."

It's worse than this statement paints it. She details all the inconsistencies of the accusation. The most important detail is that she tried to tell the media and they were not interested in her story. THAT is the golden nugget that proves this is FAKE NEWS.
