The feud between President Donald Trump and basketball dad LaVar Ball escalated after the Commander in Chief called Ball a poor mans Don King and an ungrateful fool The Wednesday morning tweet comes after the pair continue to argue about Trumps role in securing the release of Balls son from a Chinese jail after he was held for shoplifting Louis Vitton sunglasses.

Yep, classic misdirection. Wonder what’s going on behind the scenes?
‘LaVar doesnt understand...when you try to heckle the guy with the microphone, the guy with the microphone always wins.’

So true. I am a reporter, and my editor boss always said, “Never get into an argument with someone who buys ink by the barrel.”
Here is a link on Scott Adam’s take on Trump’s approach to communications:
http://www.businessinsider.com/dilbert-creator-scott-adams-explains-trumps-persuasion-style-2017-10
I convinced my boss to use it at work last week. She made an error in an email (that was meant to persuade others to support my position). I told her about the error, but reminded her that fixing it would “step on her message” and she should leave it alone.
She followed my advice (the Trump approach) and we prevailed.
It works.
It was written on Free Republic a while ago.....
“A man that buys ink by the barrel should not go to war with a President with a Twitter account”
Don King has 1,000 times more class than this moron.
Not a valid comparison, Mr. President.

That’s why he’s the “poor man’s” version. ;)
I bet President Trump knows Don King and that Mr. King considers that statement a compliment.

LOL! Literally!!! Have a great day, FRiend. :)
I watched the interview with Ball, and I have to say.....Trump owes Don King an apology....
big time funny!
Lessons learned Mr President, ignore the thugs in jail next time please.
LaVar understands very well: every time he or his kids wind up on TV he makes money. It doesn’t matter if he sounds like an idiot, the money keeps coming in. So he wins.
As Scott Adams would say, that’s the “kill shot” from Trump.
There are certainly better things for POTUS to be doing than getting into childish twitter war with some homey who sells sneakers. Sometimes the lack of focus and swamp draining is embarrassing. Build the wall, get the judges in place and then go play in the twitter sandbox.
He can’t win this one. Because for Ball it isn’t about being correct, it’s about keeping he and his kids names above the fold so Big Baller Brand keeps getting the cash. The only way to beat Ball is to ignore him completely, he’s perfectly comfortable being the fool, he understands how even bad press (which is pretty much the only press he gets) puts money in the bank. He’ll gladly keep this twitter beef going for the rest of Trump’s presidency, it’s all cash for him.
When I was in the third grade, a bully was beating up on us during recess. ONe day he picked me. Unlike the other kids who didn’t fight back, I did. I got punched in the stomach, and I think I cried a bit, but I got a good solid punch to the kid’s face. He didn’t mess with me again, but more so, no one else messed with me.
I guess the moral here is, if you don’t take crap from anyone, the people far down the food chain won’t either. I mean, Trump goes after these insignificant jerks, but in so doing he’s giving other on notice not to mess with him...and they don’t.
Compare this with George Bush and the others, that just took it.
Trump has put a stop to the nonsense coming out of the media and in his own party. It translates to the world stage.
He’s an American thru and thru, whereby we don’t take crap from those who attack us.
It’s too bad it wasn’t, Singapore!
They may have gotten what their dads, never gave them.
Yep!
bkmk
Ouch! Succinct and to the point. LOL.
Don King endorsed Donald Trump in 2016. LMAO.
Tweeting is ok, however, Push through the darn tax bill. Get something through congress!
