I remember when pro sports had great play-by-play announcers. That hasn’t been the case for a long time now.

Nope. I can speak to my personal experience. When it started up again I was ready to pull the plug on my Sunday Ticket. The only reason we didn’t is that I have a cowboys fan in the house and to that point Jerry was saying the right things. After that circus of a weekend with all the protests and then Jerry taking the knee we gained a consensus to pull the plug. It was already simmering. The weekend of social justice by owners was the final straw. Trump only said what 10s or millions were already feeling. When the league owners became fully complicit that week it was the end.
