Hope the cola roast tastes as good as it sounds. I told hubby about your recipe...easy and tasty. Good combo!

Dulcie is surviving the most inept caregivers in the entire world, bless her heart. But we are learning some stuff to try to help her be comfortable. The therapist was here today and he showed us how to get her to sit up to strengthen her torso and to rebalance her body so she CAN sit up.

Every day is a new adventure. As Kathy always says...one day at a time.

Popping in for just a sec.....

We are a payroll department of 4. One left on vacation on Friday. We had things planned out and were good to go Monday morning. Then, in the morning, one of us started feeling VERY bad with what seemed to be a stomachache...maybe. The pain was bad and she was crying and took herself to the hospital. By late afternoon she was still in the emergency room with drugs onboard that were not working.

She texted before we left last night, 8pm, that they said she had an ovarian cyst and they would do surgery in the morning. She called this morning from home...they took her to surgery at 1am. They didn’t want to wait.

So since noon yesterday we are only 2. We talked tonight about how we were doing and we decided not too badly. As we are working on units that are not all that familiar we are doing ok and spot checking them. Everyone will get paid and any corrections will have to wait until next week.

I worked til 2am so I’m off to bed now.

The roast should be tasty. Haven’t had one flop yet.
I don’t know if diet Coke will work, since your hubby’s diabetic, but I don’t know why it wouldn’t.
Got a pretty little chuck roast tonight.

It’s good that the therapist is able to give y’all guidance on how to take care of her. You’ll have it down pat before you know it. And yes, ODAAT. :-)

Either way, you're the odd person out.
Smile, eat your dinner, and ofter to help clean up.
You'll be a little less awkward in no time!

Hmm, parts true; some not.
Maybe I should have selected all the game choices. LOL

Okay, it's been a busy week.
Trying to get back to the gym in the mornings
and doing chores I do every six months.
I'm not going to the gym this morning or tomorrow morning,
so I hope to see some of you Thanksgiving morning.

So, come on in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, tea;
pancakes, conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS
