Algemeiner is a Jewish publication with a neocon policy outlook. They are no friends of Middle Eastern Christians. This article is part of a larger propaganda push by neocons trying to stir up hatred of Iran for the purpose of getting America involved in another Iraq style war.
Christians across the Middle East are in a de facto alliance with Shiites and secularists against Sunni terrorists. Kurds are Sunnis and have a bad relationship with Christians historically.
