California has become the first state to approve LGBT-inclusive history textbooks for use in primary schools, the Advocate reports.

The California State Board of Education on Thursday approved 10 textbooks for kindergarten through eighth-grade students that include coverage of the historical contributions of LGBT people, and rejected two that failed to include such coverage.

They include poets Emily Dickinson and Walt Whitman, authors Ralph Waldo Emerson and Nathaniel Hawthorne, and President James Buchanan.

These are all white people. Can't be having that in California classrooms. Kids can't read anyway so what's the difference.

Come and listen to my story about a fella named Phred
A poor New Yorker who barely kept his dachshunds fed
And then one day he was jerking off some guy
Who turned out to be a casting director and a Communist spy
Well the next thing you know old Phred’s a millionaire
Starring in movies, getting his hand prints on the walk
But deep in the bowls of the hype and the glam
He’s working for the ChiComs ‘cause the Soviets are in the can

OMG, can we pay this ridiculous state to secede? I know there are good people there, but they just need to get TF out.

I feel like Eddie Murphy watching the horror movie: why don’t white people just leave when the killer shows up?

Just think of all the contributions alcoholics have made. Why don’t they use an alcoholic inclusive text?

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL

This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)

The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

Bingo.
I saw this happening in the late 60s and beyond, as I was leaving college. The commies/socialists/marxists of the 50s and 60s had taken over the schools, and segments of society, and began to teach their filth.

I got thru it all, pretty much unscathed. So many other segments of society have been infiltrated and are controlled by them, it will take generations to rid America of that disease.

Apparently the most important thing in their lives is how they have sex. Isn’t that a significant accomplishment? Isn’t it something that all little tykes should know about?

Dear God, please return us to the 1950s and deliver us from this nightmare.

Why is it that every time a chick does something that guys have just been doing naturally without thinking about it for millennia that we have to make a big “oh wow, this chick wrote some useless poem nobody read 100 years ago, but since she fondles some other chicks boobies, and stuck her tongue places that millions of guys over millions of years before her, we need to make sure her valueless non contribution that added nothing of value to the human race is somehow special and celbrated. Well guess what? Women who have contributed to the worlds knowledge are already celebrated for their merits. Perhaps some were lesbians, but who knows and who cares. Being a lesbian has nothing at all to do with their accomplishments.

What if Hitler, Stalin, Lenin, Mao, Pol Pot, were gay? Would it be included in the curriculum?
