TRUSSVILLE –In an unscientific online poll conducted by The Trussville Tribune, Republican Roy Moore led Democrat Doug Jones by a healthy margin.

The poll limited participating IP addresses to one entry and had 2,741 participants. The Tribune covers the cities of Trussville, Clay, Pinson, Center Point, Argo and Springville in Jefferson and St. Clair counties.

When asked who participants would vote for in Alabama’s U.S. Senate race, 58.5 percent chose Moore over Jones with 35 percent. Less than 4 percent said they would not vote and less than 2 percent said they would write in a candidate.

Asked if they were affiliated with a political party, 46.5 percent of participants identified as Republican, 33 percent said they were independent, and 22 percent said Democrat.

The poll participants identified as conservative 55 percent of the time, moderate 30 percent, and liberal 15 percent.

Asked if they believed the allegations about Moore, 50 percent did not, 36 percent did believe the allegations and 14 percent were undecided.

Most, 82 percent, said they were not swayed by the allegations, but 15 percent said they were.

Almost 60 percent of participants voted for Donald Trump. Nearly 27 percent voted for Hillary Clinton and and 13 percent said they did not vote in the 2016 presidential election.

Might be more accurate than Nate Silver.

We are going to elect Judge Roy Moore to the United States Senate. I had rather have him than any of the 99 current slug pond fools who think they are the best things to come along since sliced bread. These fools need to drop off the face of the earth and leave our coming new Senator alone. Everyone, EVERYONE that I have spoken too were at first concerned, but as the evidence against the lying pond scum attorney and her false accusers, that has gone away. Everyone that I have discussed Judge Moore with, will still show up at the polls and VOTE for Judge Moore.

In our voting district, when you show up, you have to show picture ID, then the ladies at the table have two print outs with the names of the voters on them. You sign next to your name and get your ballot. The print out for the republican side is 2/3rds larger than the dim printout. We VOTE for conservative republicans around here, NOT liberal, lying scum pond DIM-moooooo-crats!!!

As Howard Stern said, the majority of Alabama votes would prefer an alleged child molester who used to cruise malls in his 30s trolling for teens to a Democrat who supports abortion rights.

Personally I think even Alabama can do better than these two. Then again, we’ve had some pretty bad choices here in California...(both my senate candidates were abortionists in the last election)

Anything, Anything, Anything is more accurate then Nate Silver, Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC, and all the left-wing liberal Democrat fake polls. Judge Roy Moore will win this Senate race running away from badly flawed, Democrat, Doug “Baby Killer” Jones.

And...the side bar. What’s with Harvey Weinstein, Al Franken, Bob Menandez, Charlie Rose, Bill Clinton, Joe Biden, etc., sex maniac, pigs...all of them, they all make Judge Roy Moore look like an innocent, “Alter Boy”.

Folks....them crickets is chriping loud....but not a real word from the Democrat Party low life leadership and rank and file Democrat dregs!!!

Alabama voters...all of you, vote for Judge Roy Moore and MAGA.

By all means clean your own shit up before you try to even comment on something you know nothing about. If your quoting Howard stern as a political commentator your an idiot.

Moore is and has proven himself to be a strong conservative and an honerable man who will hold to his values even if it harms him personally. How many politicians can say that?

FR has some big idiots. Howard Stern really. Voicing opinions on Alabama state elections quoted by a California “conservative”. WOW

An interview with the first liar is all over state and national media today as she embellishes her story.

As I posted several times everywhere I go for happy hour the conversation is always the election and it’s almost unanimous that though most of us don’t like Moore we’re not letting the WaPo, dims or GOPe decide our election. I’m one of the many who planned to not vote but will be first in line to vote for Moore. Don’t need a liberal a$$hole representing us here in Alabama. Don’t like Moore PERIOD but he has my vote. My brother is the most apolitical person in the state and he’s already said he’s so pi$$ed with the establishment that he’s going to be voting Moore!!!!

The manager of that mall did an interview in Birmingham and said the rumor about Judge Moore at the mall was nonsense.

Check out my profile page to see why the Alabama media is trying to destroy Judge Roy Moore.

What are the voter registration breakdowns in Alabama? Sounds like this poll is a heavy Republican oversample.

Actually as I recall, it’s close to the Alabama party demographics for the state. It’s that tilted in the state.

The stories of the accusers are collapsing fast.

No more preemptive resignation. That was the Republican way forever. It was a monthly event during Reagan’s years in the WH. Maybe more often. The idea was to throw an underling to the sharks “to protect the President.”

Common sense says a deputy DA doing antics that would get him banned at a mall would not have been on the job for long.

Excellent point! An Assistant District Attorney gets banned from a local mall, and it goes unnoticed by his superiors? Weak!
