Moore may be the first Trumpist to be elected into the Senate. This won’t sit well with the GOPe and McTurdle.
Moore is not really a Trumpist. He is an independent thinker and a social conservative and Christian idealogue. I don't think he will be controllable by anyone whether it be McConnell or Trump. To the extent he agrees with Trump's position he will support him.
Based on what I've seen so far I would imagine Moore will support most of what Trump wants. He will want basic conservative things we have been talking about on this site -- the wall, low immigration, lower taxes, no ObamaCare, no gay marriage, no homo's in the military, etc.
He may not be so willing to cut deals. Anyone who would lose their job as Chief Justice over the 10 commandments strikes me as less willing to compromise. But knows? This is a different type of job for Roy. So we'll see. It will be a breath of fresh air in Senate.
