Songs have been written, and sung about small town U.S.A. in which everybody knows everybody in town.
IF Roy Moore was a philanderer the whole town would have known about it, and he would have never achieved what he has achieved.
Exactly. Yes, the whole town would have known about it and it would have come out long before this month. Roy Moore has had what, four or five elections and nothing until now?
The whole thing is a smear job orchestrated by McConnell et al. What a disgrace that the Republican leader in the Senate is sabotaging a Republican Senatorial candidate. What would Ronald Reagan say?
BTW, those are really nice comments from the ladies, really nice. Lots of gentleman, kind, respectable comments. Sounds like a good role model and fine upstanding person in the community.

A woman made an allegation. Therefore, he’s guilty. Doesn’t matter how many women allege that he’s good. Only bad allegations are ever true.

You’ve got a dozen saying he’s a sterling individual and a dozen saying he’s a creep. People are going to believe one side or the other depending on how they felt about Moore to begin with.

I grew up in small towns.
I respectfully disagree.
I have seen more than one small town cover for “one of theirs”. More than one attack the victims in order to protect “their image”. Everything for sexual misconduct to manslaughter swept under the rug for the “right” families (of which mine was never a part, but were are not town people).
I have also known a few to run the former golden boy out by his ear for much less. Often by their own family.
People are people. I am not saying the Moore did or did not do anything, but saying “It is a small town and someone would have stopped him”, is at best naive.
Gadsden isn’t that small.
35 thousand people is a big town in Alabama. Not a city but town. I don’t think you can hide bad stuff in a town that size. My town of 10K knows who is dirty or not. If a dirty politician from my town was running for senate you could line up hundreds to tell people the truth. The good ones Get respect and keep their jobs bad ones get kicked out. Good old boy or not they lose positions when they go sideways.

I’ve heard of such abuse before in small towns. We currently live, and have lived in a small town for the past thirty years. (14,000) Perhaps we’re just lucky.

Of course the entire RINO party, the commie media, the leftist and all the rest will deny everything these nice ladies have put forth. They will all call these lies by a desperate Moore to stay in the election!!! Great for these ladies to come forward!!!
It sounds like Moore is a very upstanding man now, but that does not mean he is innocent of what numerous people allegedly witnessed decades ago.
