Franklin Graham: People denouncing Roy Moore are 'guilty of doing much worse'
Washington Examiner ^ | 11/17/2917 | Mellisa Quin

Evangelist Franklin Graham accused people in Washington who are condemning Roy Moore of being hypocrites, and said Moore's detractors have committed “much worse” indiscretions than the conservative judge, who has been accused of sexual assault.

“The hypocrisy of Washington has no bounds. So many denouncing Roy Moore when they are guilty of doing much worse than what he has been accused of supposedly doing. Shame on those hypocrites,” tweeted Graham, the president of Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

Once again, the good Reverend steps up to the plate and speaks the truth with moral clarity and conviction.

You are a great man, Franklin Graham.

And your reward will be great in Heaven.

It's great that Graham’ spoken out..... we live in an age of political hypocrisy 24/7 now. His statement points at the real problem in politics and elections while not determining quilt nor innocence on moore.

Amidst all these accusations, we should remember something. The truly repentant sinner is forgiven by the Creator of the Universe.

Being forgiven by God is a lot more than can be explained in words.

The worst of all criminals is the most trustworthy of men once he’s repented, accepted forgiveness on God’s terms and turned from his sin.

Allegations are not even any sort of indictment, these have all been pretty much in the same category as idle gossip and snark.

There is no definitive assurance that an occurrence from some 40 years ago could be accurately remembered today, either as to the time, or the actual circumstances. Was the accuser 14 years of age at the time, or 17? Makes all the difference, you know, as the age of consent, and therefore the implied good judgment of the female involved was exercised to a prudent degree, has been decreed by law as being 16 years of age in Alabama.

If Roy Moore was acting as assistant District Attorney, and a practicing lawyer at the time, he would have been well aware of the consequences of flouting the law, for even momentary gratification. And if the law did not get him, the wrath of the Lord surely would. A postulate that Judge Roy Moore firmly believes in, even if his detractors will not.

The Birmingham News has been on a rampage against Judge Roy Moore for many years, especially since their alleged lesbian editor took over as the main editor for the 3 largest newspapers in the state of Alabama and Judge Moore came out against sodomite marriage.

I've met her and she is VERY butch.

Kyle Whitmire is an effete "columnist" there (though he's married) and he's written with more vitriol against Judge Moore than anyone, with the possible exception of John "I forgot I declared bankruptcy and I've got a gay brother" Archibald.

They hate Judge Moore and they have made it clear that they do.

Their jobs are also dependent on pleasing their editor. Those 3 papers are owned by Advance and they have laid off over 40% of their employees in the past few years and now only print 3 days a week.

So you have lesbains and leftists calling the shots and maybe a couple of people who are afraid to speak out in fear of losing their jobs.

But this is a hate campaign of the highest order.

I am Catholic but I do appreciate the Graham family for standing up for what is right.

It also helps our President Trump has taken off the shackles of all of our clergy where they are free to speak out without the tyranny of government coming down on them.

Thank you Reverend Graham.

Always liked his dad.

I’ve like what I’ve seen of him.

This is what, “I’ll bless you until the second and third generation.”, looks like.

Holy men of God, we need more Billy and Franklin Grahams.
