Until they release names, I think we have to assume everyone of them is guilty and treat them accordingly.

The money spent was tax payer money and every penny spent MUST BE listed by posting the names of the individuals who were caught. There is NO EXCUSE not to have printed those names. Can you imagine what a complete government turn over there would be if those names became public?

It costs to “play” and those who caused these massive payouts need to pay the price, no excuses, no sacred cows.

President Trump controls the Treasury Department and can Order the release of ALL Financial Payouts for Sexual Harassment Immediately.

Names...let’s see names. Their is no need for secrecy other than to protect perverts and their enablers (the rest of congresslosers). ALL of congress is part of this since they passed this bill and since they were aware of these payments to silence those attacked. What a bunch of arrogant criminal asses. Great “leaders” we have there, no?

Why is it that the taxpayers are on the hook for ANY amount of money for settlements that benefit Congressmen? This is PERSONAL behavior - personal to THEM. Why are we paying to cover up their criminal behavior?

At the very least, since we are not dealing with national security, the public needs to know who the money was spent for, and who the recipients are. They want privacy, let them spend their own money.

This is OUTRAGEOUS!!!!

I’d love to know which President signed that bill. It seems to be Clinton (SURPRISE! SURPRISE! SURPRISE!), since payments started in 1996, but I’d love to know definitively.

No release of names because of the party affiliation?

All names must be released immediately.

If any lawyers object, lock them up as well!

The time for excuses and explanations is over.

Thank you for posting the link.

Your headline is misleading. “...releases info on sexual assault cases” does NOT match the information in the report.

We don’t know how much, if any, of the money paid was for “sexual assault”. Didn’t that allegation come from a (Demoncrat) congresswoman? Why should we take it at face value?

You didn’t include the first page of the report. Here’s part of what you omitted:

“A large portion of cases originate from employing offices in the legislative branch other than the House of Representatives or the Senate, and involve various statutory provisions incorporated by the CAA, such as the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act. The statistics on payments are not further broken down into specific claims because settlements may involve cases that allege violations of more than one of the 13 statutes incorporated by the CAA.”

Some portion of this money — we don’t know how much — is innocuous. On the other hand, some it MIGHT have been used as a slush fund to pay hush money to victims of offenses committed by senators and representatives. That’s the part I care about, and the part where the offenders need to be named.

I wonder why the women in congress didn’t do anything thing about this harassment issue. A Young woman on the Laura Ingraham show a couple of nights ago said it was well known who not to work for. All of a sudden all these woman congressmen are troubled and disturbed by the revelations! They are just as guilty as the men doing the assaults.

I’m going to assume the vast majority of the perpetrators are Democrats, because if it were mainly Republicans, someone would have leaked this years ago.

I’ll leave the actual reporting to the journalists among us.

I’m not a pro.

I just stayed at a Holliday Inn last night.
