As usual there is bribery involved. If a state does a good job they will give it money. Our money. There is no end to how they will give away our money.

Gun Crime ... 1st charge to be plead away, to get to another crime. Gun laws, as far as stopping gun crime, are worthless; AGs do not indite gun charges, and judges often let the perp go on time served, or personal bond ... allowing the perp to do it all over again or worse.

Upshot:
They’re going to CERTIFY that the NICS database is correct.
They’re very serious about this certification.
They’re really going to encourage compliance with entering the relevant data.
Very serious about CERTIFYING correctness & completeness.

Can we bring back King George? There were some pretty egregious offenses under his rule such as seizing property and the quartering of troops - but overall - we were MUCH better off.
Of course I would prefer Constitutionally limited government - but that ship sailed in 1865.

I know why don’t they pass a law saying it is illegal to murder people with a gun? I know that would work, all their gun laws work out so well for us legal gun owners, just look at Chicago for one example.
Yes...that will work, just like the law having to tell FBI about violent military members..................oh wait.
Hey did you see where Jerry Brown changed the law in Cali. No more harsh crime if you use a gun during crime? They gotta get more mass shootings to happen, not happening fast enough to take away our 2nd amendment.
Just think if killary was in power, we would have already had congress pass laws against some of our weapons by now.
Federal law is supreme over any state law.

There needs to be a law which restricts insane incompetents from standing for election and removes those who slip through the initial vetting process.
You can bet there’s a poison pill in there somewhere, or one will be added just prior to passage. Banning possession of semiautomatic arms, or something.
Yet, the GOP can't pass a single bill!
