I’ve done consulting work as a highway engineer in Virginia since the early ‘70s before I retired, working for more than one engineering design firm. Virginia DOT changes priorities nearly every 4 years, canceling or postponing highway projects that are as far as 90% completed with their design, because the transportation road commission changed players.
Can someone provide a human readable form of this article? Lots of words but after reading it, I don’t feel like I learned anything. Blah, blah, blah, highways, blah, blah, blah people arguing.
Coalfields Expressway. Good or bad? Who is for it? Who is against it? Is the cost reasonable?
Who profits from it? Maybe that’s the big question.
