They portrayed it that way, but despite the 24/7 negative news coverage NJ taxpayers still thought Christie spared them from the very taxes Phil Murphy promised. I read this race as more an indication that there are less home-owning taxpayers in NJ now than ever before; like NYC, many non-contributing voters are quite content to vote themselves part of others’ income.

Either scenario doesn’t bode well for NJ homeowners and/or taxpayers; it is a windfall for the welfare and government worker castes.

” If we lose the House and the Senate the House rats will impeach President Trump and the Senate rats will impeach him.”

That is exactly what’s going to happen. And the rino’s will be cheering them on.

“Are you planning to stay home in 2018, or vote for some third party candidate, who has no chance what soever?”

Nope. I’ll vote. But I’m in MA so my vote doesn’t matter.

True but in an off-year election Democrat turnout is usually weaker than Republican. City weaker than suburban and so on. Abscent a rallying event (police shooting, sex scandal) the Dems will likely not have any net gain to speak of.

In York's mayoral race last week, a convicted felon-turned-environmental activist who's registered as a Democrat but running as a Republican defeated the black female Democratic incumbent. And he did it with a local coalition of Bernie Sanders and Republican supporters, as well as a breakdown of trust in the leadership of the incumbent mayor.
Gee, let's break this down... an incumbent, a Demwit, who's black, and female, lost in often-blue Pennsylvania, to a convicted felon TURNCOAT, who is an environmental activist in a coal state. Oh yeah, the Demagogic Party should be turning CARTWHEELS over that result.

Frankly I don’t see Dems doing well here because they have lost the ability to nominate people who sound moderate or sane. The chick Toomey beat was a corrupt, screeching Hillary clone. Most of the others are to the left of Che Gurvara. They just can’t fool ‘em like Bob Casey anymore.

Refuting this is tiresome but here goes: Staten Island New York City should and probably is scaring the life out of any thinking Democrat. In brief here is how it works: The fake Democrat narrative that Trump is losing support was completely destroyed on Staten Island which is in New York City. In 2016 Trump won Staten Island with 56%. A woman from Staten Island who was a mild supporter of Trump was run over in her city wide race for mayor BUT won Staten Island 70/30. Moreover a City Councilman who ran Trumps NYC campaign won with 80%. Both ran against classic communist/Democrat candidates. Ms. Zito has to leave Pennsylvania every so often for better perspective.

My nephew was on the Hatboro schoolboard for 9 years as a GOP
The entire schoolboard was GOP

Democrats ran an anti Trump campaign
They won all the seats for the first time in a long time

York city isn't surrounded by a county. York city is part of York County. But point taken.
