'If You Can't Do This Then Get Out': Hannity Gives Roy Moore 24 Hours To Explain 'Inconsistencies'
Fox News ^ | November 14, 2017 | As seen on Hannity

Posted on 11/14/2017 7:38:48 PM PST by conservative98

Sean Hannity said that, in light of inconsistencies in his recollection of sexual misconduct allegations against him, Judge Roy Moore (R-Ala.) should be given 24 hours to fully explain the situations or bow out of his Senate race.

"You know I do not and will never rush to judgment, because we have seen the media and politicians get it wrong so many times," he said.

But, he said that in light of new information from an accuser of Moore's, the public should be troubled by a few things in the case.

Hannity said he had to ask Moore several times about whether he dated teenage girls as a man in his 30s, until the judge answered concisely.

Also, Hannity played tape of Moore saying an accuser who was flanked by attorney Gloria Allred made allegations about him that were "absolutely false," adding that he did not know the woman.

Hannity said a subsequent report showing the woman's old yearbook containing a note and signature from Moore appeared to corroborate the woman's allegation.

"For me, the judge has 24 hours. You must immediately and fully come up with a satisfactory explanation for your inconsistencies that I just showed," Hannity said.

"The American people deserve 100 percent truth and honesty."

He said Moore owes Alabamians and all Americans a full cogent explanation of the circumstances.

Moore currently faces Democrat Doug Jones in the December special election to replace now-Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

We can’t even begin to express how deeply disappointing we find this from Hannity

Hannity, if you cannot come up with solid indisputable evidence that Moore is guilty in 24 hours, you should quit and turn your program over to someone who’s not a phony conservative.

Smells like Hannity is under pressure to cut Roy loose. And this is the deal.

Or what?

He said the accusers lies. What can he prove?

Hannity is following orders.

This just helps Moore in Alabama. Damn Yankees!

War Eagle!

Everybody take a deep breath. This will blow over when another story-of-the-week takes a hold. When Moore wins, this will be as much forgotten as Thomas’ harassment fiasco. Remember those? Me neither.

Pathetic.
Yeah, the yearbook entry deserves a response.
But an ‘ultimatum’ is irrational.

Why aren’t you disappointed in Moore for making false and misleading statements? Why would you be upset with Sean Hannity for pointing out the obvious? Hannity feels Moore has been lying and specifically lied to him - and he has good reason to believe that. All of his accusers could very well be lying - but that doesn’t excuse his own false statements which makes people believe he is guilty - if h has nothing to hide, then why hide it? His interview the other day was a disaster - that is no one’s fault but his own - Hannity multiple times tried to even help him clear up some suspicions and Moore kept hanging himself. His claim he never knew this lady is either false or the document is a forgery and she is lying.

If all of this is indeed a lie he must file suit against them for defamation and get them put under oath to discourage false allegations of this sort. Not just the Washington Post - the individuals who have made the false allegations must be held to account if they are in fact lying. Either he is a monster and did what they said - or they are for making up vicious false accusations.

"...Judge Moore..."

He is probably toast at this point.
Darn how I wish he showed MUCH stronger resolve in earlier interviews.

If someone accused me of “being the shooter on the grassy knoll” my denial (and clear innocence) would be apparent.
He needed to speak clearly, forcefully, and expressing righteous indignation.

just because you want someone to be a good and moral person does not mean that they are. the nature of politics attracts people who are dupliticus. I hate the fact that it is looking like the claims of theses women might be true it does not fit the reality that I want. at this point an accounting is needed. in two of the cases enough information has been given that if it is all lies he should be able to prove it.

Sean, I quit watching your tv show when GWB was in office, and haven’t listened to your radio show for at least four years, or longer.

This kind of crap is why.

Dumba**......has he not noticed that all republicans (prior to elections) are accused of every heinous act? And after the election, accusers disappear.

People lie, voters have seen it for decades!
