“To make a world where Trump is really not our president, we need to train our students to make nuanced arguments, teach them to communicate productively and civilly with people who hold competing ideologies and encourage them to work toward a world where racism, sexism and xenophobia do not hold enough power to manipulate a presidential election,” Basiliere said.

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!

Yeah, come to rural America and try to tell me that nuanced BS, LOL. You will go running away getting an earful, LOL (it wouldn't be the first time it's happened either to a libtard).

Well, they can talk down to me and mine here in rural Alabama, but that doesn’t mean we’ll listen. Oh, and about that “dumb rural hicks” thing: I have a degree in electrical engineering and use calculus on a daily basis. I’ve also given invited papers at IEEE conferences, and I’m an amateur radio operator whose firmware is in all the major brands of ham radios. So, not dumb.

What a crock!

I have noticed this about lefties. They think everyone thinks like they do, since anyone with any intelligence who is "oh, so enlightened" like me shares my beliefs.

For instance, why is xenophobia always bad? Why would you want to invite hordes of illiterate foreigners to pillage your treasury, rape your women, and disregard your country's foundations, and insert their savageness? Likewise sexism and racism are broad terms that mean different things to different people, and are not applied equally to all groups.
